• (2023-11-03) Knots Untied: Given this extension hasn't been updated and is still basically an alpha version, it works really well to stop videos autoplaying. Its biggest problem is that on X (fka Twitter) it makes those videos stutter badly when you do try to play them. I have to turn off YAAB for X videos. Works fine in Arc for macOS.

• (2023-04-27) J C: This extension works for one of my newspaper sites that always autoplays videos. Some of the others didn't work. I can't say if this works for all sites, but it works for one that other/different blockers didn't work for.

• (2022-08-17) nightsmusic doe: It doesn't work half the time. There's no way to have it off by default. On click, on specific sites, on all sites, doesn't matter, I have to turn it off on every single site! Every single time! That's just useless. I don't want anything on any site to autoplay unless I click on it. Ever. Period. And I can't get it to do that!

• (2021-10-09) J S Flynn: Finance.yahoo.com this is the ONLY blocker that works! Not even ublock origin will grab and remove the frame. I'm guessing that this works because it simply lets it play for a few milliseconds and then hits the "off" button. Recommended. FIGHT back! Don't let Yahoo beat you.
• (2021-09-09) FecklessTech: Picked it at random for Brave browser. In my 5 minutes of exhaustive testing it worked perfectly on several MSM "news" sites, completely silencing the annoying swarm of unwelcome auto-play video windows that pop up and ruin my browsing. The peaceful, quiet experience of scrolling and reading without having to shut down the pesky video windows was magical!

• (2021-05-27) Chris Carter (maczter): Simple and does what I needed. I tend to have multiple windows open in Chrome with lots of YouTube videos queued up to watch…eventually, and every time I restarted my Mac or Chrome, all the YouTube videos in the active tabs of the various windows would all fire off and start playing and I'd have to go chase them down and manually pause them. This extension did the trick and now they open up paused and silent!

• (2021-01-04) Chuck Summers: Does what I want it to do. thanks. I mainly want it for videos on pages such as fox or cnn or other fake news sites like that. You cant get through an article without ten videos playing as you scroll down to read. This stops almost all of them, usually the first one, the main one, gets through but the rest stop as you scroll.
