Extension works only in Google Chrome. If you want to get it to work in Chromium, you need to install additional codecs for it. For Ubuntu this is 'chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-nonfree' package.
NOTICE:
It does not access your private data. Chrome shows the warning for all extensions that access browser tabs even if they do not access any private data.

Last fm player stopped working with last FM up date.No buttons at the side of tracks
Увы, по сравнению с тем расширением, что было лет так 5-7 назад, уже не то. Авторские права, блокировка VK сыграли своё дело. Уже давно скробблю с гаджетов и компа, и ради интереса решил узнать, что с ним всё-таки случилось. По сути, ничего толком не поменялось, кроме убранного старого интерфейса с масштабными кнопками. Скробблинг осуществляется, но врубает ютубские видео, а зачем? Ласт уже давно ввёл возможность трансляции треков с сайта с помощью Ютубчика и Спотифай. В добавок ко всему, не все треки, т.к, соответственно, не всё находится в просторах видеохостингового сайта. Земля пухом этому расширению. Уникальная была штука.

Спасибо! Работает хорошо! А кто знает, как запускать музыку на Chrome OS с флешки или съемного жесткого диска? (Я поясню: Chrome OS (ноутбук) не дает запускать мои личные файлы, я могу слушать только музыку из интернета). Что можно установить?
Не пашет - отстойное приложение
Так работает или нет? как искать музыку в приложении, она отображает только пару своих групп, а как найти другие?

it's not free or if it is i have to keep signing up for more and more stuff----spend 15 min picking preferences and then it recommends among others the Beatles. i select them and everything i try to play says it is not available or i don't have it on my computer.

Сейчас всё сломалось, VK заблокировал доступ. Ох ( === Старый отзыв === Действительно лучшее приложение такого рода. Очень грамотные обновления, стабильность, количество источников, скорбблер. Лучики добра автору! :)

Very handy alternative to Seesu (but not as powerful) ;) Many tracks are not available in Last.fm so this will try to find alternative streams. Simple to use. Just visit a Last.fm page with any number of tracks, and click on one of the new play buttons that have been added to the page. The playlist will appear in the extension and you can now leave the page or site.
The most effective way to listen music without any download.
