Tiny extension that removes forced closed captions from Netflix's Subtitles.
Removes Closed Captions, Hearing Impaired (HI) Subtitles, such as: [MUSIC PLAYING], (ENGINE REVVING), ♪ I'm singing in the rain ♪.
Comes with button to show closed captions, it appears at the rightmost corner of the omni-box, clicking it toggles CC On/Off.

I can't provide you with a screenshot of this working as the image would be copyrighted, as would the subtitle itself I'd imagine.
This small extension came out of my own need for something like it, I enjoy watching TV Shows and Movies with subtitles, and Netflix has English subs for most of their catalogue, unfortunately most of it is Closed Captioned, I got annoyed by it so I worked out a RegEx expression to get rid of the CC part.

- (2023-05-16) Marco Caraco: Alright, so here's the deal. It was all good at the start, but now? Not so much. These updates are like waiting for paint to dry, seriously. So, I've gotta knock my rating down to 2 stars. I'm giving it that extra star because, hey, it did work at one point. But I'm shaving off three for these snail-paced updates. If things don't pick up soon, I might have to drop it to a single star. But if they get their act together and it starts working again, I could see myself bumping it back up to 4. Just saying. Update: Okay, so here's the update on the situation. We're now two months down the line and, honestly, things haven't gotten any better. Those updates? Still slower than a turtle in peanut butter. So, I'm officially going all in and dropping my rating to one star. I mean, I gave it a fair shot, right? I've been patient, but patience has limits, my friends. If they turn things around and it starts working like it used to, I'd consider bumping it back up. But for now, it's a solid one-star from me. Disappointing, really.

- (2019-07-05) Tanguy Nodet: A lifesaver extension! I really don't get why Netflix doesn't offer non-CC English subtitles to begin with... The only problem I encountered is that it sometimes reset the preferences (I often have to turn off multi-line filtering, which more often than not causes issues of disappearing parts of subtitles).
