- I have had this for years and it has worked very well. Despite the constant attempts by websites to block access, throttle my internet, push ads and pop ups, and many other scummy tactics the developers for AdBlock have done a great job at adapting the extension. I have never been pushed to pay for an upgraded service and for that I am actually considering upgrading to a paid version not only for a smoother experience (the internet throttling is no joke I've seen websites try pushing over a 1000 ads in a minute trying to drown out AdBlock) but also just as a thank you. I've seen over a million less ads than I would have had I not gotten this.

- It's been pretty good, but you tube political ads are getting through lately in Sept 2026, the worst time for YT ads to get around this extension. Please see what you can do about this.

- Used to be great but now I constantly get ads about adblock premium where it claims the addon is useless and doesn't do what it's supposed to unless I pay. Lmao. Switched to uBlock which just does its job without begging and shilling. Piss off.

- I have had this extension for a while. At first it was great, now it seems to have stopped working. One of the biggest issues is with Pinterest. It will not block any ad on it anymore. That was one of the reasons I got this extension in the first place. I am not sure what exactly they changed, but it no longer is serving its purpose.

- The app is now not free. you have to pay to block ads... 4 USD/month is very high price for low income country (Africa). I suggest a more afrodable price for African countries (0,5 USD/month is very reasonable price)

- Been using this ad block for probably a decade at this point, I installed it and didn't really think much of it after that. I only found out yesterday by going into settings an option is ticked by default to "allow some non-intrusive advertising"?????? Are you kidding me? Why do you think I added an ad blocker to my chrome? I didn't know if this setting until I decided to check on a whim and its ticked me off enough to leave a bad review.

- This has recently stopped working. Over the past couple days every site I go to shows ads for the first couple seconds, which includes pop-up windows, hidden items and other invasive ads. updated: This is now completely broken. Every site now shows tons of ads with AdBlock turned on and there in no difference if AdBlock is turned off. Fix your useless extension or remove it from the internet.
