- Its uhh not blocking you tube ads anymore. when i watch shorts on my computer it usually just auto flies right past shorts that are ads but it's not anymore, for the longest time I had no idea how the commercials ended; now I do. Full videos doing worse but you can still refresh and it will just play the video. I'll have to find a different ad blocker soon.

- Lately this extension has been lagging my entire chrome experience. locks the dom on all tabs for quote a while when loading sites like cnn or imgur, works great with youtube, but something changed recently and it's performance tanked.

- Do Not Add This Extension. It tracks your information, and how you use the web. It even suggests you to stop 'annoying' cookie pop-ups on popular sites. These pop-ups are vital for your security. Always Select the 'Reject All' option. If not visible, go to more options. Also, the problem with this extension is it gives you notifications to pay them money for them to be able to track your activity even more closely. It also asks you to email them so that in return they can send you all sorts of malware and ads. Besides this, the amount of users or subscribers or likes on any Google platform is a lie. I have guessed it multiplies the real value by around 6. Also, the developer of this Extension acts very suspiciously, and I bet it is going to respond to this review: "This is not expected behaviour. Please Email..." It almost seems like the developer is using a bot. Long story short, this risks you giving your information to third-party sites and is NOT safe.

- Every time I open chrome on any device they force open a new tab to show me an ad to start paying for their service. When you uninstall and give the "I don't want to pay" option, they make sure to point out that "the app is free and you can just close the tab, reinstall?". Ironic and funny, but very obnoxious. I'll be switching to an ad free ad blocker.

- This was great for many, many months, and now out of nowhere I am constantly being harassed by advertisements - FROM the adblock. They are CONSTANTLY begging me - I mean 20+ times per day - for money. I accidentally click the box instead of the 'x' sometimes, and the page doesn't even work. I don't know how I would pay them even if I wanted to. It has become the enemy. I'm sick of being begged for money I don't have. I'm considering un-installing, but I don't know. At least then all the YouTubers I watch will profit off my views, and sometimes YouTube catches on that I have AdBlock anyway and bars me from watching. At least I won't be bombarded with adblock advertisements. We'll see.

- I only added this extension so that I can leave this review. Once I leave this review I'm going to uninstall again. I have no interest in this stupid extension I never asked for it I never agreed to it. But this so called ad blocking extension has been spamming me mercilessly to add it. So basically, if you're so desperate for subscribers, Then why don't you start acting more competent than you've been acting. Try acting sane and intelligent for once. And stop spamming me with your stupid advertisements wanting me to install your pathetic ad blocker that doesn't even work. - One of the best free ad blockers I've used. In about a 2 minutes of logging onto a website, it had already blocked 17 ads. Love this, definetely recommend this to other users!

- works welll on everything but youtube shorts. it keeps skipping over actual content that comes after the ad due to add-on working slowly and delayed and doesnt let you roll back to content that was skipped if it passed another ad making this extension utterly bad and unuseable

- 2025.09: this is the extension I need. /Choose "NORDIC filter", if you live in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark? / This is ON by default, I had to switch OFF because this allows TOO MANY ads, 10 huge ads per page: "Why should I agree to see Acceptable Ads? It prevent anti-adblock walls that FORCE YOU TO DISABLE your ad blocker to access their sites and FLASHING ads" If this extension doesn't work for some an-adblock WALL, try Pie AdBlock maybe?, but bad thing about that extension is I can't manually choose which elements to hide.
