Man it can't even recognize the text in <p></p> And won't even let me select the text that i want It's such a simple task of selecting just a text field, but it won't allow me to even navigate further if it can't recognize any sources "worth" scraping

I tested this extension on the LinkedIn feed with infinite scroll enabled, but it appears to run endlessly. It would be helpful to implement a hard limit on scrolling or provide an option to periodically save the scraped data as the process continues.

When creating or, more specifically, editing a selector with Type: Pagination, the selector incorrectly and automatically adds itself to its own list of Parent Selectors after saving. This creates a circular dependency, which causes the pagination logic to fail. As a result, the scraper only processes the first page and then stops.

No good for paginated sites.

I am unable to extract my 200 pages it is only extracting just 3 pages and that's it

Yeah, horrible experience. Good tool but zero compatibility with the previous versions, which means you will probably lose every data, node and sitemap you create with every update. Had previously backed up most of my data, but this time I decided to trust (wrongly) to keep all in the extension's config files and saw all of it deleted.

Great tool. Having a knowledge of html selectors etc made a big difference for me I think.

The scraper is excellent, and I've had a very positive experience using it. It's truly one of the best tools available. However, I have a suggestion for improvement regarding the selection feature. Sometimes, we need to select a single line or a specific word within a multi-selection, but currently, the tool selects the entire area instead of the specific part we want. If this feature could be enhanced to allow more precise and advanced selection, it would greatly increase its usefulness. Overall, it’s a fantastic tool. Thanks to the team for creating such an impressive solution!

Excellent scraper for small projects. However recently the extension disappears from my chrome console? In firefox this is not an issue so far.

honestly if you only need a small or medium amount of data this extension works just fine.... however once you start to deal with larger numbers of pages and data the extension sadly cannot handle it. After scraping a large amount of data the browser page for the data will only say "loading" and when you go to the data export it does nothing and you are unable to access the data making this extension completely useless for my use case. As stated before if you only want a small amount of data this is actually a really great tool. It is just its lack of ability to handle large amounts of data that renders it useless and a waste of my time. Sadly i have wasted numerous hours trying to get this to work properly to no avail.

the plug-in is easy to use. However, it has a design issue/ bug when I am using the plugin to handle the following case. Background: I am in a shop page and have list of ordered orders. The orders are shown in pagination format, each of the page contains 10 orders. I can click the order and it will show the order detail, e.g. ordered datetime, ordered product and quantity, delivery detail, etc. It will show product detail if I click the item. [I have read the tutorial and watched the youtube video] What I expect: I want to get the ordered data based on the product. e.g. 2 orders, order A has 3 products (1 & 2 & 3), order B (4 & 1) has 2 products. And I will have 5 records in result. Actual result: the plugin only have 4 rows, 1 & 2 & 3 &4, it won't show order B 1. Possible Finding: I watch the live time data scraper when getting the data, the plugin won't go into order B 1, I have no idea why the plugin don't get that record. What I can think is the plugin may already have that data, so don't go into. But that's not the scraper should do. Scraper is "just" scrape the data, don't need to do any other handling

Working great as of 10/23/2024. Let me tell you why I'm so happy about this, because I was desperate: - Firecrawl.dev? Inconsistent API documentation. Apify scrapers? Couldn't work on my target URL. - I spent $150 over 4-5 OTHER tools before finding this one, which is free to use locally. Wow. I'm dumb. - My target URL was a broken site, with 500+ javascript errors, content violations, bad cookies, etc. - Not a single scraper worked that I tried, except for this one. So yeah, I'd say I'm pretty happy!

Cant scrape any data. Useless extension

Does not work on sites with tabs. I tried it on answerthepublic.com and it doesn't scrape the List data. It says "No data scraped yet."

Please act like yall see these negative reviews. This doesnt work. The documentation is nicely laid out and so simple to follow....if it aligned with what you see.

Lots of tools, but far too hard to grasp, very finicky. The other webscrapers on the store have an easy click and select option without going into developer tools.
