RoboForm is Very Secure
The Master Password is used to generate an encryption key for your RoboForm data. The Master Password is never sent or stored on our servers when using RoboForm. You are the only one that knows the Master Password.
When using RoboForm in Everywhere mode, your Logins and other information are securely sent in encrypted form to our servers. When you access that information in RoboForm, it is decrypted locally on your computer, not on our servers.
You also have an option to run RoboForm in Desktop mode where your Logins and other RoboForm data are only stored on your computer and are never sent to our servers.
We also have a multifactor authentication option that allows you to "register" computers and mobile devices so that only those computers and mobile devices can access your account.

- Have had RoboForm since before the year 2000. They have provided upgrades and new features all this time while providing reliable service. It is a workhorse, and I would be in a fix if I didnt have it. I suggest spending time upfront to learning RoboForm's feature set and also how you should set up your browser options before using it. Highly recommend,

- I tried another password manager because it was included with the antivirus program that I began using. After spending a couple of days setting it up transfering all the data and trying it, I was not impressed with it and decided to stay with RoboForm because it is so user friendly..

These guys dont give two hoots about customer retention, they charge full whack if you have auto renew; when in reality, if they cared about their loyal customers (ive used roboform for over 15 years) the would charge the same as they charge new customers. very disappointing

- I've been using RoboForm personally on all my devices (Apple & Microsoft) and for my business team, for nearly 15 years. It's a fundamental and reliable part of my digital life. It's great to have every password different and long and I only need to remember my very secure master password (and even then I lean on passkeys most the time) - so it's easy to use and saves heaps of time. RoboForm helps me stay secure. It also stores my other important data (passport, credit cards, secure notes, etc) and is very handy when travelling. Even though its well and truly earned its 5 stars, some balanced feedback: support is good but impersonal and not quick, the browser extension can be really slow to load sometimes, and the interface is a little clunky to use and manage (but you get used to it). Unlike some of the other apps in this space, RoboForm has never been hacked. It's very secure. For the paid service, you get a reasonable discount for paying years in advance. I easily highly recommend.

- Too difficult to install and use. Installation screen too busy with AI instructions, many options mixed with News items, upgrades and sales. I need a simple system to save my passwords. Going back to my own notebook! - very secure and easy to use. I haven't got the time/patience to follow all instructions. Thanks anyways. JK

- Generally I really like Roboform, but it has many inconsistencies between platforms, PCs and phones and tablets. Second, it does not always create accurate new login credentials and one must edit newly created entries for accuracy. Third, it does not at all understand that some websites use/require a secondary and different password for options after login with the site password. Options like a purchase password or withdrawal password cause Roboform to want to update the site/login password and that must be dismissed. Fourth, it has been my experience that Roboform does not always offer to fill in my username and password when I have the desired site login window already open, which is frustrating. I dumped a different password manager because it was even worse and have not tried others, simply because, even with the faults mentioned, Roboform still works well.

- the best app around, works everywhere and is very important to protect from fishing and spam mail since it will not offer a password if a fishing mail ask you to access a fake account. Roboform does not recognize a legitime link and therefore does NOT offer a login, this should be your first warning something is not correct. Love being using for almost 10 year now

- The extension version 9.7.6.7 does not work with the latest version of Chrome. It is written on all forums and in artificial intelligence. Please fix the problem in a timely manner and release a new version, what are you waiting for?!

- Very good, very reliable for many years -- perhaps decades(?)! I have it on all PCs, phones, etc. It syncs across multiple machines and browsers, which I love. I do have one problem - on my new Windows 11 machine, I cannot get the lower toolbar to appear, no matter how many "how to" articles I read online or what browser I use. The "show lower toolbar" option just doesn't appear in any of the various dropdown menus. Puzzling. But with the Roboform logo in the top toolbar, I can stop using the lower toolbar altogether, saving a little real estate on my screen. I'm currently trying to wean myself off of expecting there to be that lower toolbar there(!). I guess I kind of take Roboform for granted now, but I think it's my most used software. On any new machine, it's the first thing I get running in the first hour of use!

- 99% of time I like this app and have for over 12 years. Sometimes it gets tangled with a site's security protocols but that is rare. I use up to 4 different browsers at the same time and it works with all of them.

- Thought it would be a good choice. Was easy to install, but it keeps changing passwords to match other users on our computers. An example is: My boss has a amazon business account and I have an amazon personal account. Roboform keeps changing either my password to his or visa-versa. On top of that it SAVE it. wiping out the real password. Nearly a daily issue with one site or another. Sure glad I actually have a spreadsheet of our passwords actually printed out. Would spend half the day having to deal with changing passwords. Going to have to get rid of this this weekend.

- Doesnt always find my password so I need to look it up manually in roboform. A newer version I cant even see the password, which is annoying. Also the generate password button does not always come up when you need it.

- This extension is no longer functioning. Despite multiple reinstalls of both Google Chrome and the extension, the issue persists. Kindly provide assistance in resolving this matter.

- The little roboform icon next to fillable forms in chrome browser are not populating the fields when you click on it. The icon in the bar with the rest of the extensions is working normally. Can this be investigated?
