Blocks scripts (and more) on untrusted websites.
No-Script Suite Lite provides an extra security for your browser. It allows JavaScript (inline & external) to be executed only by trusted websites of your choice. Some websites are added to the white-list by default, but you can add or remove items at any time.
Important features:
a) Allows you to block all Scripts (inline and external) from untrusted websites (plus you can block Images, Objects, Styles and Media as well).
b) Simple and very lite: this Addon does not use noticeable memory or CPU form your machine.
c) You can easily switch the extension On or Off from the toolbar popup UI.
d) Add or remove websites to the white-list table easily from toolbar-popup.
e) Beside scripts, you can also block style-sheets, images, objects and media from untrusted sources. To activate, open toolbar-popup and click on the desired option at the bottom of the panel.
f) Choose desired blocking engine, Web-Request-Observer or Content-Security-Policy from the options page.
g) Add desired whitelist or blacklist rules with regular expressions.
Note: to read about all the new features or reporting bugs please visit addon's homepage (https://mybrowseraddon.com/noscript-lite.html).

Jak blokuje to nie możesz używać strony. I to jest ten problem. Nie da się używać przeglądarki z tym dodatkiem.

Looks like no good. I removed it in the end. The extension with this name, in the Firefox browser, is much better.
- (2022-09-03) James Price: I have been using this extension for as long as I can remember. It adds a ton of security for blocking scripts and web elements. easy to change security modes depending on needs.
- (2022-05-05) Sergio Henrique da Silva Pereira: Simples, prático e funcional.
- (2021-10-11) Service Ming Fai: May 2021: I cannot edit the whitelist, except adding. I cannot convert to exclusive mode, or the exclusive mode block nothing. ... But the extensive run smooth in general. Oct 2021: After a few update, now it cannot run when I start chrome, I need to disable and enable to wake it up.
- (2021-10-06) Matt: its the year 2021 and this so called "developer" doesnt even know about wildcards. Today almost all sites use sub domains so you literally have to approve each subdomain instead of just using a * wildcard to specify all sub domains. Also, has this dev heard about alphabetical order so we can actually see what domains have been approved and it also makes it like 1000000 times easier to revoke a domains approval. But who thinks about all this complicated stuff when developing a addon?
- (2021-08-30) ZBS: It's very effective at blocking unwanted or dangerous stuff from running on sites you go to. Just whitelist the site you're on if it's something you use often and know is safe. However, it doesn't work well at all with sites that put a username in front of the domain. Bandcamp and Itch.io are two examples. For instance, www.bandname1.bandcamp.com and www.bandname2.bandcamp.com would have to be added separately. So every single band at Bandcamp has to be whitelisted individually, you can't just whitelist a site like Bandcamp once and be done with it. Any site which puts a username in front of the domain has this problem, and it's the most frustrating thing about the extension if you happen to use any sites which do that. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star review. I even tried contacting the developer about this some time ago but never got a response. What makes it worse is that every single other security focused extension I have used, except for this one, makes it easy to whitelist an entire site domain even if the site puts a username in front of the domain. It's ONLY this one that can't let you whitelist all of a site like of Bandcamp or Itch.io with just one click. Only this one. It also doesn't seem to have any way to export/import settings at all, which is what prompted this review. I was going to recommend this extension to someone who doesn't use Bandcamp or Itch.io, and export my over 3000 long whitelist so they could use it. But there's no export/import anywhere that I can see. There's no way I'd want them to go through the trouble of adding all those themselves, like I did slowly over years, so I guess I won't be recommending it to them after all. Honestly if I had known about the username.domain issue before I had a very sizable whitelist already, I would never have started using this in the first place.
- (2021-07-20) It does what I need it to do, plain and simple.
- (2021-02-18) Top Blue: An absolutely essential tool that blocks nuisance or malign re-directs and browser hijacks on untrusted sites, but the media (preferably video pop-ups) block option STILL just DOESN'T WORK (the same goes for uBlock Origin's pop-up block 'option'). I use PopUpOFF aggressive mode for that.

- (2019-10-15) Frank Discussion: I've spent as much time as I'm going to to figure out how to implement a simple wildcard so that I can stop individually whitelisting subdomains every time I visit a new site. An asterisk is sufficient for literally every other piece of software on my computer.
- (2019-09-03) Hikashi A. Halfiah: Very simple app: block all script on blacklisted site, or allow all script on whitelisted site. Some may complain its simplicity however (no sophisticated script blocking). But for some its ease of use is something of a big plus.

- (2019-01-07) E T: Nice extension! Pretty easy to use, all I had to do was go to each of my bookmarks and whitelist them. After that, every other site was blacklisted from using javascripts. Exactly what I wanted!
- (2018-12-24) Chris Vydas: i could not figure out how to use this extenion. it either breaks everything in a webpage or does nothing it all in addition it block all scripts, theres no concievable way i can see to allow certain scripts to run and block the ones you do not want that are the cause of some website annoyance, all in all i found no script suite lite to have a convoluted UI and no meaningful uses.
- (2018-11-06) John L. Reed: Thanks!
- (2018-09-09) Dmitrii Efimov: Easy to use, very clean and simple interface
- (2018-09-06) Horlufemi Ogunnaike: This extension should add this mode "It allows JavaScript to be blocked by untrusted websites of your choice. Few websites are added to the black-list table above by default, but you can edit the list at any time." Its useless because i only want to block a few sites.

- (2017-12-10) Bulletz: White list doesn't work, so you either block everything or nothing. Uninstalled.
- (2017-12-04) Việt Vương Trà: Tốt nhưng thiếu tùy chỉnh, Noscript trên Firefox khác làm rất tốt các bạn nên học hỏi.
- (2017-11-24) Heider Dideriksen: Excelente!
- (2017-11-22) Silver Bowen: Blocks scripts based on the URL, so there is no way to allow some scripts and block others from the same page. Does not show what is/isn't being blocked, so if one page is dependent on scripts from another URL, you have no way of knowing what to unblock except to open the inspector, dig around for failed requests, open their URLs, then allow them with the menu. Incredibly tedious and basically unusable for all but the most basic use-cases.
- (2017-11-22) Fajny Dominik: Co to za atrapa jest? Interface i konfiguracja to jakiś koszmarek jest.
- (2017-10-10) Jeffrey C Drywater: Okay, so it's not exactly like the Firefox version... Still, it's pretty slick and I like it. My only complaint is that it doesn't automatically refresh the page when I make changes but that might be some of the other extensions I have interfering - I'm still new to Chrome so I don't know. Anyway, it's a great little tool and it's a shame it's getting such poor reviews when it does what it's supposed to do and it does it well.
- (2017-08-17) xgh15: 5 STAR FANTASTIC! 3 stars LOL idiots - this is the ONLY Chrome extension that I know of that blocks malign page pop-ups and unwanted re-directs. If you want a regular ad-block use Ublock Origin.
