When I try to open them with chrome extension version Xodo, all show "undefined". These files can open with acrobat, kami... different chrome PDF viewer. why is that?

• (2020-11-14) Dominique Croteau: July 2020: Consistenly crash and force-close Chrome everytime I try to open a PDF file (Chrome Version 83.0.4103.116). It then get automatically turned off by Chrome and considered as "corrupted". Tried to reinstall 3 times, still the same result. November 2020: Gave it another chance because I love the app on Android...but nope, doesn't work in Chrome in Windows 10. It eithers become "corrupted" and automatically deactivate or simply bypassed by Chrome's default PDF viewer.

Support just seems to blame it on google but now the google print works for our printer so guess they fixed that. Uninstalling. Used to be a good app but support is spotty when it fails. • (2020-03-06) george chaimalas: Tried everything to make it work. It always crashes and says that I need to repair the extension. When I go to the site to connect my google account, google said that I gave the permissions but the site did not state if the connection was established, I tried to open a pdf and the browser crushed. My laptop is capable enough to run way more demanding software. I really wanted to try it out as my current annotation extension is a bit limited but at least it works without any frustration.
• (2020-03-04) pafau k: Ok, so it just won't open google drive files. It's a fresh Windows install, fresh Chrome install, no popups blocked, and trying to open a pdf gives a "Network failure". Good luck finding a solution, when all google search results are about a phone app.

  Bom dia! Estou com algumas dificuldades: 1) Não consigo usar a extensão do xodo no chrome, pois quando seleciono o meu arquivo pdf no google drive e seleciono "abrir com" não encontro a extensão a extensão do xodo, apesar de tê-la instalada. Aparecem diversas extensões (adobe, kami, etc), mas não a do xodo.E se eu seleciono a opção "conectar mais aplicativos", no google workpace marketplace não tem a opção da extensão do xodo. 2) Outro problema é para utilizar o xodo web app, pois quando seleciono o meu arquivo no google drive, retorna a seguinte mensagem de erro: "an error encountered wile loading the document", entretanto, o arquivo está no google drive, e funciona e outras extensões (kami, adobe, foxit pdf) abre normamente. 3) Outro problema que estou tendo é para utilizar o xodo no windows, como faço para selecionar a opção para pegar arquivos no google drive? porque todo o material fica no google drive.   Buenas, tengo un problema, tengo la suscripción de pago, cuando estaba en prueba, estaba genial,,,, ahora no quiere abrir ningún archivo PDF, antes trabajaba con Acrobat Reader DC en mi trabajo y la gran mayoria por no decir todos mis archivos PDF los creé con ese programa, También tengo la suscripción en mi celular y también tiene problemas al editar los archivos PDF. Se bloquea,,, se traba a cada rato, tras cada anotación en la edición me pide reiniciar la aplicación (en el celular) y en mi PC no abre nada y se queda trabada y me cuesta un montón destrabarla,,,, Yo me suscribí en mi PC y mi celular, pagué las dos suscripciones precisamente por la edición, necesito una solución por favor.

  I select a pdf file from G-Drive/Desktop and choose to open with XODO and the pdf will not open. It will not open ANY pdf's from G-Drive...every time I get the same message "Undefined". I can choose to open a pdf from G-Drive in Adobe and Adobe opens it. The same pdf file from G-Drive will open using XODO on my Samsung/Androide Tablet, but not on the Desktop. I have contacted XODO Support twice in the last couple weeks, but get no response. If I can't use XODO on both my desktop and tablet, I will need to find another app that can do both. I'm very disappointed & frustrated with this.

  Running on Chrome 86.0.4240.75 (Official Build) (64-bit) I install the Extension, enable and restart browser (just to make sure it loads). Upon trying to open a PDF (from local HDD, "Open with Chrome"), the extension doesn't take over Chrome built-in PDF viewer and doesn't seem to be able to load correctly (grayed-out / "No access needed"). After a couple of tries, I get the "corrupted" extension message other users talked about, and need to repair, without success. When trying with "allow in incognito mode" and "allow access to address", the PDF no longer opens, the browser/pdf tab just briefly starts to open and immediately closes.

  Hello, I've been trying to use the extension but every time I open a pdf it automatically closes the new window (which is supposed to open the xodo extension with the pdf) and the "Extensions" settings in Chrome report an error which says "this extension may have been corrupted". I've been using "PDF Viewer" (ID: oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm) to continue reading long PDF's after browser restart but editing is not supported. I would rather use Xodo!
