Nextvid Stopper for YouTube™ is a lightweight extension that stops playlists from automatically going to the next video by toggling the autoplay button to 'off' every time you visit a playlist.
You can quickly disable Nextvid Stopper for YouTube™ by clicking on the icon in the address bar. If you want it to continue stopping autoplay, just click the icon again to enable it.
This extension won't stop autoplay for embedded YouTube™ playlists on other websites.

It used to work when you forced youtube's old layout, but now it doesn't even work when you do that. For the past couple days I've tried to find a replacement but I haven't been able to. This extension was good while it lasted.

Unfortunately, this plugin no longer works on Youtube's new layout, and there's no way to return to the old site as far as I can tell. Hopefully the issue is resolved soon.

Doesn't work. Some people say it works on Youtube's old layout, but that's never mentioned in the extension and I'm unaware of what people even mean by the "old layout" considering how often youtube changes its layout for no reason.

Сделайте так чтобы это работало, когда видео в полноэкранном режиме, а то авто переход работает, когда видео смотрица в полноэкранном режиме. Не работает.
I love this but it stopped working for me after i reinstalled my pc.
Edit (12.10.2017): Stopped working again, not sure what went wrong. Maybe it has been like that since I switched over to youTube's new layout, maybe not. I cannot really tell. I would really love it if you fixed it, but thanks for this wonderful thing nonetheless. It was great while it lasted. Edit (09.09.2017): Yaay, it's up and running again. Bless the Internet. Orig (04.09.2017): This extension used to work just fine but does not function with YouTube's new default design. Hope it gets updated to correct the issue, because it was the only thing that kept YouTube playlists tolerable.
