• (2021-04-15) Jeff Nailen: FYI: Tech support says this Pipedrive Chrome extension is deactivated. They are replacing it with the Pipedrive CRM add-on in the Google Workspace Marketplace here: https://workspace.google.com/u/0/marketplace/app/pipedrive_crm/181457847709 I installed it there and it seems to be working just fine.
• (2020-11-24) Wojciech Wilczynski: Functionality limted. Two cases especially bad: 1. Forces to add a contact before allows you to add a deal. 2. If you use Zapier as a form pusher from your website, it will not find the real contact's email if you include it in the body or "reply to". Only looks for emails in the sender and recepient fields. Should have an option to add a contact manually or look in other places as well. 3. If you have required fields set up to pass between different stages of a deal, your sales rep can use this to circumvent this setup. You can change stages using this extension freely, completly ruining any sales process you have.
• (2020-09-02) Miguel Angel Muras: Nice idea (and probably useful), but it fails continuously (trying to connect...). Also, it needs a big part of the screen.
• (2020-08-06) Andrew Lowe: Worked perfectly when I first got the addon. Contacts and Organizations were loaded properly on my gmail. 3 months in - Pipedrive tool just stuck on loading .... the entire toolbar ( contacts, organizations ) just does not load. Big shame. If there is a fix for this, I'd rate 5 stars
• (2020-02-11) Marcin Żochowski: As I work a lot with Gmail it is great to see deals and task directly from there. Unfortunately task list does not show overdue tasks. Is it possible to change it?
• (2020-02-04) Eli Glanz: Clean interface but lacking functionality. It is lacking in one big way; syncing existing deals to emails, it has the ability to add new deals to Pipedrive but not existing. It takes one email to create a deal but it takes countless emails to finalize one and they need to be synced to Pipedrive to get a reasonable overview of each deal. This feature actually exists within Pipedrive, but alot of us tend to use gmail since it's more versatile.
• (2019-11-22) Charlie Smith: This plugin is cool in concept. Unfortunately, for our team, we need to save emails to contact records in Pipedrive. There is a known bug in the plugin which prevents this feature from working. It works if you want to save the email to a deal but that is not our primary use case. Hopefully they will fix it soon. Doesn't sound urgent based on our interactions with support.

Is there no way to add/link contacts/deals/activities before sending an email? Right now I have to send an email, go to my sent folder, open the sent email, and then do all of the above.
• (2018-08-31) Alex De Winne: It's great to see integration tools like this. The zapier integration with Pipedrive is also very robust. So, overall, this tool for me is very useful as I spend a lot of time in my email. However, I am getting the blank screen issue others are reporting, so I'm looking forward to an update.

• (2018-07-31) Matthias Egli: Very limited in functionality (can't sync emails easily). Tends not to find existing contracts/deals. Mostly useless due to that.
• (2018-07-09) Niall Fennell: The functionality is decent but I have a problem picking up the people in an email for auto population. Most of the time I have to manually enter the details so this is not time effective. Similar apps I've used in the past pick the contact details up simply by hovering over their email address but Pipedrive hasn't achieved this yet. I'll still use it as I love Pipedrive but the extension has a bit to go... UPDATE: Since the switch to new Gmail, this extensions keeps going blank on me. I now have to turn on and turn off again regularly which is frustrating.

• (2018-02-19) Michal Zuza: Since i log into Pipedrive with my Google Account, I am unable to log in this addon since it does not support this form of login... Please fix it.
• (2018-02-16) A decent first version, and it's great to be able to add a contact straight from Gmail. However, it doesn't remember whenever the panel has been collapsed into the side so it's annoying having to close it each time. Also, I want to be able to disable it for certain Gmail accounts (i.e. my personal one)
• (2018-02-16) Luke Jernejcic: This is awesome as a first release. I look forward to getting updates and seeing where they take this extension. The only thing that it is really missing is mail tracking (i.e. inserting the open tracking when sending emails). If they add that, then I'll stop considering jumping back to HubSpot.
• (2018-02-15) Tim Richardson: I need more time with it before giving 5 stars, but it's impressive. It looks good, it's interactive but not in the way. I can say it significantly increases the usefulness of Pipedrive. I hate to be tied to Chrome, so I hope a Firefox extensions is in the works.
