  • (2024-12-19) Anthony Lorubbio: Used to work well. Now it's extremely laggy and takes up so much of my CPU. Crashes gmail tab on chrome browser. When I uninstalled and re-installed, I also noticed that it requires read/write access to ALL websites. Which is a major over-reach. Disappointed in Hubspot. Please reconsider.

  • (2024-11-06) Robert MacFarland: It tracks opens, replies, and everything is capable right from HubSpot. If you use your client, like Outlook installed on you desktop, and you don't have Gmail, or any of the other providers, there is a tracking email that is loaded into your address book, that you can BCC every outbound email when your not in CRM. It also works from iPhone and MacMail.

  • (2024-10-28) Games Panprakrong: Always bugged. I have re-installed the addon two times. Almost every time I send an email (Outlook), I have to log back into Hubspot via the Outlook addon, and sometimes it does not work (error message). Maybe after I refresh Outlook 2 times I can log back into hubspot. The pin does not work. It also does not log my emails, even after re-installing the addon. I get an error message. Hubspot customer service did nothing to solve it.

Its a shame that I pay $1850 a month for a pretty solid crm, marketing, support, website hosting service and they can't sort out how to make a browser extension that works. I told my team today to find an alternative at what we pay it is outrageous that they can't deliver a simple extension.

  • (2024-09-11) Kevin Bickford: System all of a sudden today decided that it would log me out and then not recognize my extension anymore after years using Hubspot. I have been working on this all day. Was looking at doing the paid version, but if I can't even get the free version to work, why pay for it not to work. Any ideas on how to get the link to work again besides removing it and adding it 20 times already. Works on my laptop windows 10, but I prefer windows 7 on my desk top. Like i said it was fine yesterday and this morning and then stopped. Can't get any help from Hubspot unless I want to pay $800.00 a month.
  • (2024-09-03) Robert Demont: This extension doesn't work for me at all. First off, it does not create a side window, it creates a drop down window from the extension icon next to the address bar. It logs me in, but the only thing I can see from the extension drop-down is my activity feed. It literally won't do anything else. If I try to click on a name or load a contact, it instead opens a new chrome tab for the HubSpot user page. This seems pretty useless as a tool.

  • (2024-08-28) Lauren Fry: When it works, its great but sadly it only works intermittently. Sometimes it will look like it is working but still wont actually work and log emails into Hubspot. Because its so unreliable our sales team has to do a ton of extra work manually and its killing leaderships trust and team morale, not to mention killing our efficiency. We are looking into alternatives that will work, without causing so much extra work for the team.

  • (2024-08-02) Alex Osborne: The fact it logs you out is bearable, but the fact that there is no easy way to log back in is beyond belief and makes the product unusable. I hope that one day soon AI will augment or replace your development team so these things can be fixed.

It is actually unbelievable how such a company is not getting the extension right. This bugs already exists forever. Plus using it causes mails landing in Spam. I was a satisfied customer until this. No more extension. Uninstalled.

I see a notification when there is an open/click on email, but would like to see the blue # on top of the extension again
  • (2024-06-12) John Hanlon: Same problem as others. Constantly getting logged out and as a result not noticing that emails aren't getting tracked. At least I could sign in when this happened and get the extension working again, but that's not the case today. I haven't tried removing the extension and installing again, mostly because that doesn't seem to be working for others who have posted reviews. But nothing else I've tried has worked -- I cannot get the extension to work and thus I am getting nothing from my HubSpot account today! So frustrating! Also, FWIW, HubSpot had a message above my activity feed for several days suggesting that I download the Sales extension, which I already had and which was working, albeit the annoying constant sign-off problem above. This message makes me think my HubSpot account doesn't even know the extension is already loaded into Chrome and Gmail.

Constantly needing to be re-signed in, re-added to chrome, etc. I discovered many of my emails sent in Gmail weren't actually logging. Hubspot needs to make sure the Gmail Hubspot Sales extension works especially with GSuite accounts.
