HOW MAILCASTR TRACKING WORKS?
- Mailcastr uses the transparent pixel method that the email industry used for ages. When you send an email using Mailcastr, a pixel is embedded in your message. Once the recipient's email client or application loads the image, Mailcastr’s server gets the request, and we record it as an open event.

I've uninstalled the chrome extension, and tried to uninstall the addon using G Suite Marketplace, but the add-on is not found. As a result, the add-on still shows in my Gmail addon sidebar and has not not disappeared for over a week now.
- (2019-09-05) Steve Riley: I bought this as an LTO for $59 for lifetime access. Unfortunately there is no real way to test it until you buy it. I'm no longer using it because it lacks the basic functionality that other trackers have. You can not send and archive at the same time or BCC to a CRM with a click like you can with Yesware. Also, the read icons don't show up as they say that they do in the video. Total waste of money.

I believe green means tracking, but after sending it, the message does not show as tracked on the dashboard. Only a few does. And I am not sending more than 5 per day. Update (Aug 2019) They emailed me this: [Try the new version] "If it works for you, please update your chrome store review with a 5-star rating and I'll personally extend your account validity to 1 year for free!". When I emailed back saying I would try it, they sent me a message offering a paid plan, and I never got anything for free.

I have a paid account that has suddenly been adding branding to all my emails including my personal account which is only connected to my work email account (the one Mailcastr is with) through Google to be logged in simultaneously but isn't associated with my Mailcastr account. It allows me to highlight and delete the branding but if I click the x to remove it asks me to upgrade to the account I already pay for. I removed and added back the browser extension, confirmed our plan on my account page, and even clicked upgrade to see what it would say and it has the current plan we pay for selected as what we have yet it still says upgrade to it. I tried numerous times to contact the company through the help page, but it takes me to an error page saying I've been restricted from accessing this helpdesk page. Please fix this so my account shows up properly and I don't have to remove the branding from every email I send. The tracking also counts me clicking my own sent emails as a time it was opened which is confusing when I do sometimes need to look back at sent mail but if I don't keep track of any times I've opened it myself then I have no way of knowing if the other person opened it also. If the issues can't be resolved I'd like a refund and to fully cancel, although at this point after having such a difficult time contacting the company I'm not sure I want to keep this anyway. After removing this extension from Chrome and Gmail, the Mailcastr ICON remains in my Gmail Dashboard. I would also remove my account from that company, but there is no option to remove the account in their website. I have tried to contact this company thru the online support. When I submit my ticket I get a screen that indicates that there is limited support for this page. I have chatted and emailed there support and the emails have not been opened after 5 days. They charged my PayPall account twice and I am still in the free trial period.
