• (2023-04-07) Pat MySecret: 4/7/23 It doesn't work now. Past Review: Love this extension for my news chats. Use it all the time! It will copy only hyperlink text as plain text outside of search pages. On search pages, it helpfully gives the snippet of info and the source..pretty much what you see in your Google searches. I go to Google Search results, right click the link and choose Copy Link Text, then I paste the info in my chat.
• (2023-04-04) Jonathan Woodward: I managed to get CopyLinks to work again by going to: Installed extensions/Copy Link, checking "Allow access to file URLs", and restarting the browser. Can someone else please confirm?

• (2022-04-09) PeaceBy Jesus: At least in Vivaldi (which also is Chromium based but overall better than Chrome) when I find your icon and click on Copy link then it takes me to this page. Also, while if it worked it would be more useful than the default on current page, yet there is no right click option even on the active tab (and the icon that you need to find to use this is invisible with a dark theme) while I was looking for an ext. that would provide a right click copy link for any inactive tabs, which option seems to be forbidden. One must access a tab to copy the link, versus in Firefox with the Copy Url to clipboard ext. Sorry, but thanks anyway and grace and peace thru Jesus the Lord.

Удивительно, что проблема копирования ссылок висит давно - годами, но ни разу не приходило в голову, что это можно решить с помощью простого расширения. Thank you very much, works just great. I used it to copy-paste links to articles, applications - whatever. It is actually not very clear from the description of this extension what it does. So I had to install it first to ensure: that's it, I was looking exactly for it! So my recommendation is to enhance the description. It could be useful to add there something like: "Allows you to copy FULL link - both text and links at the same time"

• (2018-04-28) Will Murphy: Does exactly what I want on Windows. Mac OS allows you to copy and Paste Hyperlinks along with the Hyperlink Title. Windows OS only lets you copy the Hyperlink unless you do the boring process of holding [Alt] and carefully highlight the Hyperlink. This provides the functionality to quickly copy the hyperlink with title so you can paste it in to an HTML editor and it show as a Hyperlink instead of a raw URL.

I've needed to insert <a> tags, it's just as easy as can be, store in "macros" the following 'command': <a href="{u}" >{t}</a> Because this extension is so helpful for me, I have to give something back, although this 'howto' is not necessary 1.Install extension 2.Go to extension options 3. Click the red + sign 4. In the new window: title :"Copy to <a> tag" macros: <a href="{u}" >{t}</a> check [x] link, [x] page click CREATE button 5.You're done. On the page, right-click on desired link, then select ""Copy to <a> tag" from the context menu.
