• (2021-02-06) Chihuahua Kawaii: While it did seem handy for when I was typing Spanish sentences (I'm learning Spanish), my browser told me that this is a dangerous extension and that I should disable it as it could cause a threat. Now I'm worried and not sure whether this is safe or not :(
• (2021-01-31) Maddie M.: I do a lot of writing & translating to Spanish & Portuguese so I got one extension for each. This is one of the few that actually has Portuguese characters. The funny thing is, it shows up as a "õ" icon in my browser but the "õ" button doesn't work. Whenever I click it, it pastes the thing I did before, something different, or nothing at all. :( I use this pretty often--Portuguese has a lot of "ão" words and their plurals are "õ" so it's frustrating that this and not something like "ü" is missing. :(((( Also I can't figure out how to get capital letters which is more of a user error, but I wish the directions were clearer (maybe a video tutorial?) for slow people like me ;)

I would just recommend that to create something so that you can type up certain characters by using shortcuts on your keyboard because it can take a while to go onto the the extention, click the character, and then paste it. At least its faster than typing all those alt codes! :)

• (2017-10-10) Seems very simple and easy to use. Unfortunately I deleted it within 5 minutes, because I primarily type in English and Danish, and this app lacks the Scandinavian å and ø, which are exactly what I need. Add these two vowels in, and I'm sold!
• (2017-09-16) Armin M: Could not be any more minimalistic, which is exactly what chrome extensions need to be. Only thing would be to make keybinds so you don't have to always open the extension, but I love the fact that it copies it to the clipboard so the character can be used anywhere on your computer instead of inserting it at the cursor in Chrome.

It opens just a little more slowly than I would like, and really needs to be customizable so that I can get ø, which is missing from the basic Roman set and is not on the others either. Moderately useful but could be improved.

• (2014-09-24) Kathryn Schekall: Keep in mind, potential users, that there is a small selection. Very small. Most people probably don't need to use a lot of different characters, but just an fyi. I have two qualms: 1. the extension icon does not show up on a black background. May I suggest a white stroke around it? 2. The copied character is actually a character with a space before it, which is a huge inconvenience. If that could be fixed, that would be great.

• (2014-08-06) Ethan Rosman: Works great, it is a little inconvenient to press the extension button. It would be great if there was a keyboard shortcut to replace clicking the button. However, it does work and it not too time consuming.
• (2014-05-29) Ido de Lepper: Handy, would indeed be better if you didnt need to copy&paste. One other irritating feature, after a chrome crash, the Restore my session button is only visible for 1 sec when using this extension. When disabling this extension the button stays until I click it.
• (2014-01-22) Rob Bourgeois: It's a bit clumsy to open the extension menu, click on a symbol, go back to the point I left off at, and then paste it in. Might a two-click system be better (click to open, then click to insert the chosen symbol)? It would also be handy to have adjustable options. I can see you thought about that, as there is an options page (which just says "Options go here."). Maybe one of them could even be the ability to allow a keybinding like Caps Lock or the Search key to pop open the menu?
