Nick O 2021-05-21: It's not working, please fix support for a 5 star. Also it appears that the issue might be with Site access, in the default there is https://*.quip.com/* and my company has a slightly different domain with Quip, i dont see a way to edit or add new domains here. how can we fix that??

Anonymous 2019-03-05: Worked for one document link in an email, but did not work when I clicked a Quip link in my Gcal. Defeats the purpose if it only opens some links and not others. Was very excited about this extension...
Chris Perkins 2019-02-25: This extension seems to be totally broken. When you click a Quip Link it still opens in the browser and never goes to the desktop app. Not sure why it has not been either removed or fixed given all the comments saying the same as this one.

Ian Seiler 2018-10-24: Doesn't work. Quip links in 3rd party apps or even in quip do not open the desktop client. Quip links addon was freshly installed and the desktop client is fully up to date.

Kaushik Subramanian 2017-06-12: I tried this tool with Quip 5.0.56 and works as described, which is really helpful. Is there a way to automatically close the Chrome tab that gets created in the process? when working with a large set of links and documents through the day, too many blank Chrome tabs get opened :-)
