Intercept downloads for Internet Download Accelerator, download a file or a group of files from the context menu.

Download with Internet Download Accelerator* by clicking on the any file link. Enable or disable browser integration from the extension menu, set the minimum file size from the extension options.
Extension adds the ability to download using Internet Download Accelerator* specified file or group of files from the browser's context menu. After installing the plug-in a new section with items "Download link" and "Download all links with IDA" is added the context menu of Chrome.
Right-clicking on the link (example link) you will see a menu with 2 new items added:
- Select "Download link" if you want to download the selected file.
- Select "Download ALL links with IDA" if you want to download multiple files located on this page.
When entering the page with the video clip, if the video service is supported, extension button will be changed. Click on it and select “Download video”, you transfer the movie for download using Internet Download Accelerator*.
* The plug-in must be installed on the PC together with Internet Download Accelerator.

But not perfect. 1) It handles blob: downloads incorrectly, I have to manually turn this extension off and download with browser 2) It has the single criterion whether to pass a download to IDA, file size. It would be better if other criteria were supported, like file names, masks, regular expressions or websites 3) It's not very convenient for some websites, for example, sourceforge.net. But I'm not sure how this could be improved

- (2021-02-11) Vali Maties: Very good, but it can be improved by adding a "black list", a list containing addresses from which IDA extension to bypass download. For example, there are sites like wetransfer.com which does not allow IDA to download files. So, for those sites it is best to create a list with them.

Pros: *Able to download youtube videos and its subtitle *Can select webm or mp4 or flv when downloading youtube videos *You can convert downloaded videos into desired mp3 format (faster than ADM) *Even though its maximum connection number is 8, surprisingly the downloading speed is at par with IDM, XDM, EagleGet and ADM *Less CPU usage compared to IDM, XDM and ADM *Can connect with Telegram with Bot Plugin *Can automatically detect media links Cons: *Unable to capture efficiently copied url or clicked link in browser, you need to manually paste in "Add download" button *Seldom update from the developer (took more than 4-6 months to update ) *No response from their support team *Unable to detect streaming videos in certain webpage such as https://yesmovies.to/
- (2019-04-15) Brandon Nunn: Needs a way to allow temporary bypass like the integration into other browsers allows. This extension has to be toggled manually every time it's used on certain sites, because it seems to not have access to the blacklist in the IDA app, nor have a blacklist of its own. So it has to be turned on and off manually, depending on what site, BEFORE clicking the download link, or it gets sent to IDA regardless, which can break downloads from sites that don't work with IDA. It ignores the ctrl+click bypass command from IDA, and there is no Chrome hotkey to toggle the extension on and off (only to enable it--hmm...) or bypass option. And without it, IDA ignores Chrome and Chromium browsers, so you have to use this extension for integration. But it has some serious flaws that make it incredibly frustrating.

Закачка вроде бы передается в IDA, но вместо файла скачивается какая-то html-страница с картинками, либо в IDA передается ссылка типа about:blank, то есть пустая. С того же Яндекс-Диска, например. Но так везде. Переустановка IDA и даже самого Хрома не помогает. Печально. Причем бесплатный Download Master ведет себя также. Сомневаюсь, что разработчики вообще здесь бывают и что-то читают. Но всё же.

If you have an ad blocker active on a site that requires to deactivate it and try to download a link, doing so with the Internet Download Accelerator will not work. Must have the ad blocker off. I have actually tested this on a site that does not allow ad blockers and resolved the issue by turning the ad blocker off.
