Use custom colors for events on Google Calendar
By default, Google Calendar only provides a few predefined colors for Events, which is often not enough. Using Event Colors, you can easily pick custom colors for events.
Event Colors will add a new color box next to the others so it fits in. Clicking it will bring up a color picker where you can pick a new color. After picking a color, it will add the new color after the color picker, where you can select to use it.

Doesn't work
Doesn't work in version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit). Turn all other extensions off to eliminate possible conflicts. Too bad, we sure need more colors!

I am missing something. I do not see a new color to select to bring up the color changer. Any help would be appreciated.

Worked then disappeared
Looked like it was going to work but then the event still reverts back to the BLUE color
Brilliant and much need idea but sadly it's not working and I'm getting the dark blue colour too. PLEASE UPDATE as this is needed SO SO BADLY!

Please help. I added the extension, and whatever colour I select from the 'rainbow' image, the event colour turns out ONLY DARK BLUE in the calendar
Love the idea of it! But really cant use it because I need to be able to save the a new color and reuse it. I use color for particular categories like pink for a particular client's events and appointments for example, but if I can't save the color it wont work.
A great fix for a problem that Google has been ignoring. Is there a way to save the colors you create? They appear to go away once you have selected them for the one specific event you create them for.
Thank you so so so much, I'm such a color oriented person, and Google's limited color selections just weren't cutting it. This extension is amazing.
