  • (2023-10-09) Dan Westness: This extension was working well and proper until today. Now it requires Chrome version 110. We run ChromeOS LTS branch 108 (which was the latest LTS branch up until 12 days ago when 114 was released on 09/23/2023). We have not updated all of our ChromeOS devices in our enterprise in just 12 days and now this extension was removed for lack of compatibility with 108 LTS already and broke a large number of our users with our only option for continued endpoint verification and context aware access is to push a full ChromeOS update to all of our users without proper testing/pilot
  • (2023-08-24) Kristofer Tingdahl: It does not properly detect on Ubuntu, even if the helper app is installed. The helper app does detect the stuff, but the extension is not able to pick up the information from the helper app.

  • (2021-08-02) Brandon Miller AZ-Phoenix: Can only use on windows. Got the extension and the helper apt-get package as-per the instructions. I'm able to log into my organization, but am not able to access any google apps. Using the same account on Windows I can do anything.

  • (2021-06-15) Raphael Dutra: Hi, in my organization we have some gamer machines and some OEM come without serial. That is, in the serial number field comes: Default string, Not Applicable, Standard, System Serial Number. These were all I mapped to my domain. This causes problem with context-aware access rules. In the case of linux I did a treatment by creating a fake serial (https://gist.githubusercontent.com/raphaunix/df808274095fd9b1112b3aa0d9ccee0a/raw/endpoint_verification.sh) and blocking it with chattr and it resolves. In windows I still couldn't solve. Can you give me a help here? Thanks.

  • (2020-04-01) Jesse Munson: Can't get this to work with most Macs. Even managed browser macs, this isn't reporting the device password setting properly. Defaulting to "no password", even when there is one.
  • (2020-02-12) Leonardo Ferreira Essia: The extension doesn't work on linux, the shell script of the .deb package is broken.

  • (2018-07-19) Alex Bass: It works alright, doesn't give a ton of information, wish it gave a bit more. Also trying to get it working on Chrome OS devices and getting the error message: - The extension needs access to client certificates and keys on Chrome OS. Have been running in circles trying to get it to work in Chrome OS. Works well for Windows/Mac.
  • (2018-07-12) jay jaye: ok if it works now.
