I use Pericles on Brave, and I love it. However, for some reason, there is a greater variety of voices and languages in the Edge version. I would love to use it also on texts with my mother tongue. Please have more voices from different languages in the Brave version.

Please update so it can follow the best practices for chrome. It is one of the best text to speech reader and I hate to see it go.

this is an amazing screen reader, the voice is clean (sometimes can be funky but it's not a big deal), and at first i was frustrated cus it wasn't reading but all i had to do was refresh the page (thanks Влад) this is one of the best that i have ever used and i'm thankful for it!!
Honestly the best text to speech I've been able to find, it can be buggy at times but compared to other text to speech extensions, its fully free and you don't have to export the text. I exclusively read on chrome just for this extension.
I'd love to give this 5 stars. But it's incredibly inconsistent. I use it on a specific website. Sometimes it works flawlessly. Sometimes it won't work at all. And once it stops working, it's frustrating trying to get it to work again.
It would be better if there is a floating button. The voice is still not very natural. It is recommended to add Edge's voice model.
Hit or miss. Works when it wants to. Seems like a free alternative to annoy you and forces you to pay or use another screen reader with ads. I really don't know how it got this rating, but if your a developer, i'm sure you could find a way to pump up your rating.

It's been 5 min and I already regret adding it, don't wast time it has only robotic richard and linda voices for EN, in a terrible interface, this extension should be rated under 3 ***
Worked flawlessly until it didn't. For months after I downloaded it, it was my go to everyday until today. I am not sure if it my computer or the app but it will not read sometimes and sometimes it will start and make it through a line or 2 then stop. I'm very upset I gotta find a new app and toss this one I need something reliable for my school work and this just does not seem to be it.

Had the extension downloaded for two hours. In that time, it worked twice. I ensured no other tabs or instances of Chrome were active. Surprisingly, it worked PERFECTLY on their own website. And I don't know who is narrating the video, but Pericles is pronounced peh-ruh-kleez. Not peh-ruh-culls. I mean, you even use a Grecian helmet as your logo. I would imagine you'd pronounce the name of the greatest Athenian politicians correctly. TL;DR -- Only works faithfully on the creator's website. Not worth your time.

This extension caused issues with Google Docs on the Brave Browser!
I have tried almost every TTS extension. This is simply the best!!! For me most important is maximum 2.5x speed, none of other extension have higher than 2.0x speed.

I absolutely hate this screen reader. It's not moving along from the main header of the pages I use it on. It just keeps repeating the same 3 or 4 lines. Telling it to skip does not make it move along, nothing I try can make it move to the actual body. Saving the pages as a PDF and uploading it makes everything unusable, I can't even read the words on the screen to follow along.

Really great extension, for free. I noticed some unpatient people complaining in the reviews that it doesn't work. It didn't work for me at first either. Make sure the page you want it to read is setup and if it's not working then click on the extension -> click the cog wheel for settings -> click the ... -> reload app and then go to then try again. This worked for me. Nothing to complain about when it's a free extension that is very powerful and probably difficult to code. Thank you developer, you are a star

Why would I used a text to speech reader when the overview video voice over doesn't even pronounce the name of your own extension correctly? ("Pear-ih-CULLS"???) If you can't bother with quality control over pronunciation in that why should I expect the screen reader to do a good job?

Used to be fantastic but recently its been randomly stopping and generally breaking, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and can't seem to fix it

Read so many good reviews about this extension. Unfortunately, the extension doesn't work on sites like Wattpad (www.wattpad.com) or Quotev (www.quotev.com). Would have loved to have e-books read to me. :(
