Automatic white list of common default Windows 10 fonts

Image from store Font Glyph Fingerprint Privacy Whitelist
Description from store Version 1.5.1 updated August 18, 2018 adds the latest compatibility improvements, and now requires no special permissions of any kind. This will block font and glyph fingerprinting from any sneaky website that tries to gather a list of installed fonts for the purpose of tracking and profiling your browser and device. This extension is to only allow the default list of fonts that came installed with Windows to be detected. This doesn't change the look of any website and is very lightweight. Plug-and-play to work automatically.

  • (2021-12-06) Daf: I'm not sure it's working as expected. It's not been updated for a long time(2018) Everyone shoud get the same fingerprint with the same Windows' version, right? Hre's what I get from browserleaks.com/fonts: Fingerprint ✔EF6D4B6548F13407A5522AXXXXXXXXXX (removed last numbers for privacy) Report 84 fonts and 73 unique metrics found I've noted when I install new fonts, they are not detected when the extension is enabled, but they are when it's disabled, so it seems ok.
  • (2021-06-30) Cyrus WONG Chun Pong: It works like hell! Just check : https://browserleaks.com/fonts If you get following : Fonts Enumeration: 5F020BC0F02219DD2DC2E70B8A839233 84 fonts and 76 unique metrics found ---------------- Unicode Glyphs: C32965F8 ------------------ You're on the right track!
  • (2019-08-19) Ivan Promo: It's very cool! It works for fonts/css, but Unicode Glyphs looks not working. I checked it here: https://browserleaks.com/fonts . It seems "Unicode Glyphs Measurement" contains same results when I use your extension or not.

I see you manipulate the web privacy by making a defaults "user". I would like that each of my users act different, I mean I want to run all from same machine but each should look different. What is the recommended approach ?
