- I have been on the internet for years and over time learned about vpns from other users. When I realized how important it was it took a little bit of research to finally decide on surfshark and I have no regrets. I admit I had to get used to how to manage visiting sites or logging on to patreon and the such since your ips is read as somewhere else, but then I realized how the pause feature can overcome most of these new procedures.

- Well, I will update this later. After reading so many one-star reviews, it seems like surfshark support is actively trying to address issues that people are having. I have all of the similar frustrations, but will attempt to use support more to try and address the issues. I'll update this down the road after some trials. I will say that I think it's hard to appreciate what it does because if the program/extension is working, you DON'T see anything, but you DO see when it DOESN'T work. Keep that in mind when using (and reviewing) it. It makes it hard to review. I like that it's inexpensive and then if you want extra features they are an add-on feature for a small additional cost, but I feel like they are a LITTLE high in cost relative to what they are offering and compared to overall cost. And they have the "add this feature" all over the place but they don't "push" it on you. I feel like they do with it being everywhere, but I guess it's more of a feeling.

- The vast majority of websites have started blocking this service. I have to turn it off and use exclusion lists more often than not. You will not protect yourself with this because you will have to turn it off to get anywhere.

- A complete waste of money. My account was banned just a few days after purchase. I only installed the browser extension on multiple profiles (around 10) for testing, and they completely blocked my account without warning. There’s no way to contact support or open a ticket, and they don’t offer refunds. It would have been much fairer if they had simply suspended the account for a short period instead of a permanent ban. I don’t believe what I did should even be considered a violation. Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to think twice before subscribing.

- I pay for a dedicated Canadian VPN. It is sometimes fast. Sometimes slow. Sometimes download is like 0.3 Mbps while the upload is 3 Mbps.. I wish it were more consistent. If I were not so lazy, I would move
