側邊翻譯是一個簡單實用的翻譯插件，支持Chrome瀏覽器、火狐瀏覽器、360安全瀏覽器等主流瀏覽器。我們開發它的主要目的是輔助用戶閱讀外文文獻。為此，我們一直遵循著用戶閱讀體驗第一的原則，並做出瞭如下努力：
* 我們使用了谷歌翻譯提供的接口來進行單詞和句子的翻譯，在一定程度上保證了翻譯結果的準確性；
* 我們支持了PDF文件中的劃詞翻譯，打破了很多用戶閱讀PDF格式的文獻時的閱讀障礙（由於火狐瀏覽器的bug，該功能在火狐瀏覽器上暫不可用）；
* 我們選擇了側邊彈出這種相對友好的方式來展示翻譯結果。彈出的展示欄會將用戶正在閱讀內容推開，避免遮擋內容影響閱讀；
* 我們設計了簡潔清晰的翻譯結果展示欄，對重要內容進行了突出顯示，保證用戶的注意力集中於展示的內容而不是展示框等無關緊要的東西；
* 如果用戶使用翻譯的頻率比較高，可以選擇固定展示欄，避免展示欄頻繁彈出影響閱讀；
* 我們允許用戶自己決定需要展示翻譯結果中的哪些內容。例如：如果你只是想要知道單詞的意思，那可以選擇只查看單詞常見意思，如果你還希望學習某個單詞的具體用法，我們也提供了單詞的讀音、定義，詳解、例句等更加詳細的內容供你查看；
* 我麼提供了豐富的快捷鍵操作，使操作效率獲得了巨大提升。現在你只需要使用鍵盤就可以完成翻譯選定詞、展開查詞面板、固定和取消固定翻譯結果等操作；
* 我們提供了實用的黑名單功能，你可以很方便地將正在瀏覽的頁面添加到黑名單中以禁用該頁面上的劃詞翻譯和雙擊翻譯，或者將正在瀏覽的頁面從黑名單中移出以重新啟用該頁面上的劃詞翻譯和雙擊翻譯。
* 我們支持了網頁翻譯，可以直接將整個網頁翻譯成你需要的語言。並且可以自由選用有道網頁翻譯或谷歌網頁翻譯，充分滿足你的翻譯需求。
側邊翻譯的誕生離不開開源社區，在側邊翻譯的開發過程中，我們使用了Mozilla 開源的pdf.js 作為內置的PDF閱讀器以支持PDF文件中的劃詞翻譯；在遇到困難時我們也參考了crimx(https://github.com/crimx) 的 saladict(https://github.com/crimx/ext-saladict) 以尋求解決方案；另外還使用了gulp 、webpack 等優秀的開源工具輔助開發，在此一併表示感謝。
同時也感謝從0.2.0開始就使用側邊翻譯並為我們提供了反饋的用戶，你們為我們提供了很多非常好的意見和建議，沒有你們或許就不會有現在的側邊翻譯了。

So far, it works on every pixiv novel I've tested and maintains translation when you travel to other pages. Definitely a mainstay for me until further notice.

Especially noticeable when using something like the Stylus extension with a universal dark theme. Please consider adding this feature. My eyes would thank you!

- (2023-05-09) Lich nguyen: For users of other browsers but based on Chromium who want to translate the web similar to chrome, Edge Tranlate and Mate Translate are good options, but for Edge Translate to be used smoothly for those who often use Latin character languages. then you need to go to the settings of the extension, under Mixed Translator Configuration and Default Page Translator Configuration Switch all to google translate and turn off some unnecessary stuff because of this setting when clicking translate will be faster and more accurate. Privacy issues, Edge Tranate is still quite vague.
