Quick Auto Refresh is the best and more straightforward extension that allows you to refresha page automatically on a given interim. There are many extensions to do this but this one is the most straight forward, and easiest to use!
You can customize the default time and have separate timers running for all of your tabs.

- Nice, simple, straightforward. Only thing I'd like to see is an option to set a "default' time so I don't have to designate a refresh rate (other than the 15 seconds that it starts up with) every time I use the extension.
