This should be the default functionality in every browser on every device. Thank you. PS: I can't believe there are so many useless extensions if we just search for "share link" or "email page". Standard email application should be used, this is proven by time technology. Nobody needs all these fancy services that will disappear after a few years.

Does exactly what it says it will do, efficiently and smoothly. Unlike the experience of other reviewers, there are a number of email clients you can use. Right click when you're on the desired web page, select the "Share link via email" and you are presented with five choices.

Works well for sharing a page via my web email (Outlook). Nice that you can activate via a keyboard shortcut It would be nice if, once activated, you could navigate the different options via arrow keys, tab etc (but perhaps not technically possible?) Minimised this to some degree by deselecting all the email options except Outlook so now just shows Outlook and Options but requires the mouse to select Outlook so hoping key navigation can be added if possible

After the latest Chrome update do not work anymore with local email client (like Outlook or Mail) on a Mac. Just with online software like Gmail or Office365. Maybe developer can update.

With updated Chrome you can no longer right click and send. For this extension to work, you will need to 1 - download extension 2- click on the on extension icon 3 - find this extension and pin it 4 - click on options and customize to your needs Hope this helps!

I've used this for a long time and Chrome's latest update disabled it completely. I just worked through the issue, and it appears that even though it's on in the extensions, when ou re-install it, it shows up for a second at the top right of the screen, then disappears. You now need to click on the extension button and pin it, for it to work. It no longer works by right clicking. You now need to use the button. This is chrome screwing things up. Welcome to the new MS company, google, the company that likes to take what works and make it different for no advantage, just like my android.

The extension was excellent until Chrome updated the browser with the most recent version and now does not function. Removing and adding the extension does not resolve the problem.

I've used this extension for over two years, and it delivers on its promises. Three advantages it has over competitors: 1. Convenient right-click option to select webpage sharing. 2. Pre-configure a 'customizable message' to be added while sending a web link. 3. Pre-configure a default email provider (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo etc.) for sending the link through the same or a new tab. Well done and thanks, Developers

The Share Link Via Email WAS an Excellent Chrome extension, though as can be seen by the comments history, the Developers hasn't addressed these concerns! I once was able to use the extension with Outlook.live and it worked fine, though after a Chrome update earlier in 2023, the extension stopped working. I've tried every possible solution provided within the comments, plus those by general web searching. None worked. I've uninstalled/reinstalled and tried a variety of different browsers and settings, deleted cookies, emptied the browser cache, and still doesn't work.... Does anyone know of an alternative extension that will show a preview... AND WORKS????!!!!???? Thx!!!!!!!

This worked great for us oldtimers still using AOL - until AOL did their recent major overhall. Now this button takes you to the AOL inbox screen rather than to a compose screen. Appears that this extension hasn't been updated in a couple of years. Was hoping the extension would be updated again.

I used this extension for years with no problems, but now that chrome has a "Share This Page" link in the address bar, the extension is redundant.

Great addition to pad out missing (and obvious) functionality in Chrome. One minor point. Would be nice to install with mailto:// protocol as the default. Thank you for the work. Much appreciated.

Send from Gmail (by Google)を使っていたけれどそれより良い。 宛先を設定しておけるから、ショートカットキーで起動、送信で完了する。 それにGmailは起動に時間がかかるけれど、これでGmailを使って送信してもそんなに長くかからない。

Superb extension. This functionality should be included in every browser. FEATURE SUGGESTION: Many URLs contain metadate information at the end of the URL, after the question mark (“?”). This metadata typically contains info such as the source from where the user clicked the URL, or other information which is superfluous when sharing the link with someone else. In some cases, this metadata info could potentially even reveal info about the sharer of the info. My request is to add an option to your extension to strip away all unnecessary metadata information characters in the shared link which are to the right of, and including, the question mark. Here’s an example of the original URL, including the unnecessary metadata as of the question mark and everything to the right of it: • https://www.coolblue.be/nl/mobiele-telefoons/smartphones/samsung/samsung-galaxy-s21-ultra?cmt=c_a,cid_12058654079,aid_118027144522,tid_aud-918309158136 And this is what it should become, the URL to share via your extension to e-mail: • https://www.coolblue.be/nl/mobiele-telefoons/smartphones/samsung/samsung-galaxy-s21-ultra Thanks for considering my request.

It was working perfectly, but lately it will not send links as clickable. I've tried removing and reinstalling but nothing fixes the issue. It's a shame as it was a great extension.

Used to work perfectly and then it stopped around the time of Catalina (however, I did not upgrade to it because my computer is too old for it so that may have something to do with it). Not sure why it would, though, if other extensions continued to work without a problem

Great extension. But it hasn't caught up with the Outlook.com and Office 365 new web version. Still using old mailbox to share link. Please consider changing it. Thanks.

June 2018 Really like this, but it stopped bringing up my contacts. From other reviews I suspect that is due to changes in Chrome. August 2019 Old Chromebook dies. Went looking for this on a new CB, not knowing the name. Difficult to find in the store, but tried some others while doing so. None are as good as this one.

Works beautifully with Gmail. It does just what it claims to do - allows you to share a URL via email. Too bad Chrome doesn't offer a "share" option automatically. Kind of weird.. Anyway, thanks!
