O OpenOffice Writer online é uma extensão que permite criar, editar e visualizar qualquer documento do Microsoft Word nos formatos doc e docx. É um processador de texto e ferramenta de publicação. Permite criar documentos, relatórios e livros grandes e simples o suficiente para um memorando rápido. É um editor de documentos integrado com nosso gerenciador de arquivos para gerenciar apenas os tipos de arquivo DOC, DOCX e ODT com este aplicativo de desktop.
As principais características do escritor Open Office são:
- Assistentes para documentos padrão, como cartas, faxes, agendas, atas ou execução de tarefas mais complexas, como mala direta. Você também pode criar seus próprios modelos ou baixar modelos do repositório de Modelos.
- Estilos e formatação avançados.

Esta extensão usa a plataforma http://www.offidocs.com. É uma integração com um aplicativo de desktop Open Office Linux. Em concreto, é um aplicativo de desktop executado por meio de nossa API OffiDocs. Ele está disponível para usuários online gratuitamente, mas também permite a integração com usuários premium e implantações OffiDocs locais onde o OffiDocs OpenOffice Writer está instalado.
IMPORTANTE: Esta extensão verifica os URLs navegados para detectar arquivos DOC. Os arquivos DOC detectados aparecem em uma lista localizada no pop-up de extensão que são recuperados de nossos servidores. - This is probably the worst document editor I have ever used. You can't even copy anything out of it to paste into another document, it won't let you save files where you want, it won't recognize printers or send to email, and it was a giant waste of my time. This is a joke. Don't install it, it will just cause you misery and pain. I wish I could give it negative stars.

- Even though I like OpenOffice a lot, this extension didn't work very well for me. I tried and tried to cut and past text into my doc, and it would not work. Not recommended.

- Excellent. This is not a version of OpenOffice, it's the real app running on a Linux machine out there somewhere. What we get is a window into that Linux machine. I find that Google Docs is just too lightweight for my needs. OpenOffice is just what I need. Now my $200 Chromebook has been elevated to a new level of functionality. Way to go Offidocs...good job.
