Extension for Google Classroom
As a teacher, I designed Classwork Zoom with a teacher's needs in mind, and my enthusiasm for it is based on how much it helped me with my own classes.
Classwork Zoom for Google Classroom™ puts student work assigned in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Jamboards, and even Sites into a scrollable and zoomable timeline.
In this way, Classwork Zoom provides a missing piece in the puzzle of student effort and engagement. It can help you answer questions like…
- Are my students engaged in the work that I've assigned?
- Are they managing their time?
- Are they doing their own work in individual assignments?
- Is there an imbalance of effort in group projects?
When you can clearly SEE student effort, then you can more effectively encourage and nurture it.
"I feel like I was in the dark about what my students were doing, and Classwork Zoom turned the light on." -English teacher
"Now it's so easy to see when there's an imbalance in group work. I honestly don't think I could get by without it anymore." -Physics teacher
"HOLY CRAP." -Chemistry teacher

- (2020-03-24) Sandra Luz Vasquez Castro: Considero que complementa lo que ya se trabaja en classroom y facilita calificar yverificar que los alumnos se encuentren trabajando desde sus casas. Gracias..
- (2020-03-17) Alex McMillan: Absolutely loved it! It gave me new insights into my students activity! Data is always helpful to drive instruction. Three things that jumped out to me immediately were (1) students who hadn't spend much time on their work, (2) students who had spent way too much time on their work, (3) students who might have received help from another person or pasted a large amount of text. Definitely would recommend getting the upgrade for anyone using Google Classroom regularly.

- (2019-03-29) Wayne Hall: Just downloaded the extension after hearing about it on a podcast. PLayed with it for a couple of my classes really impressed. Can definitely use this to highlight who is working and who isn't. Good interface that's easy to move around.
