- I have updated to the latest chrome ( version 144) and then the Adblock became totally crashed, I went to the Adlbock setting page and all the UI messed up, I couldn't do anything with the setting page.

- Compared to Ublock Origin, This Is Completely An Objectively Inferior Extension, The Only Reason I Do Still Use It IS Only Incase Ublock Goes Down. The Tab Popups And Un-Closable Windows Popping Up From This Extension Are Overbearing. Get Yourself In Order

- AdBlock's extension does not consistently stay logged in, causing me to lose Premium features. When I attempt to log back in (clicking the Gear > Log In button), I'm just taken to a landing page. I can workaround this issue but it's a pain.

- Installing an adblocker very clearly states that i do not want ads, that includes YOUR ads. i understand that development is not cheap, but begging me to spend money by basically giving me your own ads non stop is antithetical to the point of this extension. This does block ads when kept up to date, in my mind, a 2 star review states that i think this extension has a point but needs major improvement.

- Ever notice videos that you've never watched are showing up in your YouTube watch history, especially from Disney+? That's what this extension does. It artificially inflates view counts for Disney and alters which videos YouTube recommends to you. If that is important to you, then use a different extension.

- it starts to break down my complete chrome experience with even black screens so i have to reboot my laptop. and it breaks down often so i have to delete and reinstall the extension. if you try to repair the extension the whole system freezes.

- Love it been using on my computer for 2 years now its amazing I haven't seen a single ad in any platform i've used. But unfortunetly Youtube is starting to detect these ad blockers so these types of extensions may be useless for Youtube, still love it though, amazing.

- using this for quite afew x few years on 18th n 19th december 2025, youtube (on chrome only ) screen blank white when playing video, but sound have. small preview screen also white screen. Resume normal after i stopped this extension. Using mozilla , youtube with this adblock is working normal

- The adblock is detected for youtube, twitch and other websites and it can't be turned off from a website like others adblocks, so anytime I get into one of those websited I have to disable it. Uninstalled, what it is the point of an adblocker when it cant block ads?

- This used to be a very good ad blocker. Now the devs have gotten greedy, hidden important features behind a paywall and now it's about as much use as a chocolate teapot. I'm giving it 2 stars basically because it USED to be good, now unfortunately, it's a steaming dog turd.

- The title “AdBlock — block ads across the web” gives the impression that it is completely free, but the reality is quite different. After installation, important features are locked behind a payment wall. This kind of marketing is confusing and wastes the user’s time. If payment is required, it should be clearly stated before installation. Overall, a disappointing and misleading experience.

- I am no longer able to pause AdBlock on YouTube ever since one of the recent updates. I had it already paused for YouTube since I am a premium member, but I noticed I couldn't 2X speed the video I was watching and AdBlock has been a problem with this for a little while now but I had disabled AdBlock because of this a few weeks ago, now it's back on. Now when I press "Pause on this site" it does nothing but refresh the page and remain active. SUCKS. I've had AdBlock for over 8-10 years now, and this is something that makes me want to uninstall it and try uBlock.

B) THEY TRACK YOU AND SELL YOUR DATA C) They take advantage of old reviews to stay at the top of the charts for this type of app. This should be removed so we can reset the review process because it's not what it used to be. Edit: They also will spam you 2-3 times a month to give them money. An ad blocker that serves you ads. The irony and gluttony.
