CrxMouse: Mouse Gestures

!!! Getting this in the dev console on every page: Denying load of chrome-extension://jlgkpaicikihijadgifklkbpdajbkhjo/static/js/contentInt.js. Resources must be listed in the web_accessible_resources manifest key in order to be loaded by pages outside the extension.

I installed this on Linux brave browser but sadly its broken. The issue is the icons and files have capital letters in the name and the actual files dont. Unlike windows you need to have the exact name in Linux. Please fix it for us Linux users. I love this extension but it dont work as it is. Will make 5 star once it actually works!

I'm experiencing a bug with CrxMouse on macOS/Chrome. When I initiate a mouse gesture with a right-click and drag, the gesture is interrupted because the standard macOS context menu appears, making it impossible to complete the gesture.

Doesn't work on most pages anymore!

I use the Brave browser on Linux. There is a bug in YouTube. When you click and hold the left mouse button, when over the YouTube logo in the upper left corner of the page. You can somehow initiate a gesture action. This should not be possible! And it's the left mouse button, how? Sometimes gesturing to go to the top of the page, crashes my browser. So only one star from me.

Has worked for me from day one with no gimmicks. I've been using mouse control software for many years and this one gets it right.

Is it possible to add duckduckgo to the search options, as a heavy user of crxMouse, the lack of duckduckgo is the one thing that upsets me the most!

Using this with Brave after moving over from Maxthon, does every I need and works exactly the same :)

Overall, crxMouse has some bugs/lack of features, but I like mouse gestures. I'll still rate 4/5 stars. This is a great plugin.

I had this since forever, i got the message that is not compatible with chrome and it disabled it, i enabled it again, happend one two times more now eve if its enabled and i can see the line drawn from the mouse gesture it doesn't work

I want to love this extension but it exhibits a nasty bug where using M1 / Left Click to highlight text either left or right registers as a right click gesture and will cause the page I'm on to go back or forward respectively. Happens multiple times an hour and is extremely annoying.

CrxMouse is a must-have extension. By the way, it's funny how users add their own options for saving images or custom searches and then get outraged in the comments that Crx requires strange permissions from them. :)

Messes up right-click for no reason, requiring a double-click. Even if you assign middle button for gestures.

Why does the 'advance features' suggestion keeps nagging to be enabled once it has been disabled? Everytime I open the settings it comes back. I do not see any purpose in enabling advance features, many reviewers say is just a phishing exercise -isn't it?

I've confirmed the multiple claims of malware implemented by this extension. Others on here have also done their own tests with the same result. For those wanting a short version of my review, here is a short bulleted summary: --I have undoubtedly confirmed the large amount of claims that this extension implements malware --I have confirmed that they (or some third party they sell people's info to) have used information from my device during periods when the extension was not in use and even after I uninstalled the extension --Others have confirmed this through their own testing --Downloading this extension grants it access to your sensitive information. This includes login data and keystrokes, not just your browsing history. --Some of the information they require you to share has nothing to do with the functionality of this extension --Google does not have people that go through every extension in their store, just because it's on here does not mean that it is safe They also claim that they anonymize user data. Keep in mind that you are relying solely on trusting them to actually do that. However, even then, anonymous data doesn't mean it can't be tracked back to you. It also doesn't mean that the data they get from you is harmless to you.

The "reopend closed tab" doesn't retain the history, so I can't go back to the previous page in that tab. It would be much better if it reopened the tab with the same behavior as "Ctrl + Shift + T", which some extensions are capable of doing.
