Просмотр изображений позволяет масштабировать и изменять позицию изображения для удобного просмотра, чтобы вернуться к исходному масштабу и позиции нужно сделать двойной клик в любой области окна.
Для просмотра локальных изображений, нужно в настройках расширений хрома перейти к строке "Просмотр изображений" и поставить галочку,
Разрешить открывать файлы по ссылкам.
