Best app I am using continuously for more than a year. Working very fine in background. It also includes auto pause option which I like most. (I need this option) ---------------------- Note: We have to reload the page if it is open before extension starts.

not working for me...quality remains same and in next update try to bring it on video control panel and add 360p as shortcut to directly change quality, it will be more helpful

Convenient extension. But, there is one bug. If you open the video in the browser tab for the first time, the extension works correctly and selects the video quality that I set in advance. However, if you watch other videos recommended by YouTube in the same tab, then the video quality is set to "Automatic" mode and it turns out that this extension no longer works when viewing all other videos in this tab. Удобное расширение. Но, есть один баг. Если открываешь видео во вкладке браузера в первый раз, то расширение работает корректно и выбирает качество видео то, которое я установил заранее. Однако, если в той же самой вкладке смотреть другие видео, рекомендованные ютубом, то качество видео устанавливается в режим "Автоматически" и получается, что это расширение уже не работает при просмотре всех остальных видео в этой вкладке.

After testing dozens of "Youtube Auto Quality" extensions finally one that really works :-) Probably the only one working at the time (any others work for half a minute or not at all). I wonder why several hundred thousand people (the users of non-working auto-quality extensions together) are not even aware that their extension always fails. Drawback: I need to review the source-code to be sure it's not spyware! (note that the publisher has not provided any information about the collection or usage of your data) If I need to edit this extenion's code, I will come back and edit this review too.

Exactly what I needed! I have a 500MB fiber internet and youtube always put the video at 480p. Changing it was very annoying. Thanks to the developer.
