Poznámka: Podpora zložitých streamovacích protokolov a konverzie videa vyžaduje inštaláciu sprievodnej aplikácie. Prehliadač (ani Chrome ani Firefox) totiž neposkytuje potrebné rozhranie. Po nainštalovaní je sprievodná aplikácia kompletne spravovaná doplnkom a vy sa o ňu nemusíte starať. Sprievodná aplikácia je bezplatná a má otvorený zdrojový kód. Bol nainštalovaný už viac ako 10 miliónov krát.
Poznámka: Kvôli obmedzeniam Google WebStore verzia doplnku pre Chrome nesťahuje videá zo služby YouTube. Na tento účel použite verziu Firefox alebo Edge.

- Have been using video downloadhelper for a while now. It's super convenient and easy to use. I don't like that I need a paid version to download videos one right after the other, but I just set a time for the two hour required waiting period and I'm golden. I did have problems a couple of times, where it 'failed to download' and I needed to just try again. It usually worked the second time. Overall, it's great when you really need to keep a video from a class or a zoom chat or something for longer periods of time.

- Genuinely a great extension that i would recommend anyone form any background to have. The Simplicity of the UI and its versatility is undoubtedly the cream of the crop. Would have some issue with some website that us odd formats to negate the download but like 94% of the situation it just as simple of a click.

- I don't understand why anything should be changed when it worked so well! previously there was a better extension and all live streams downloaded without problems then the "improvements" began... at first problems with high quality started and now you can download only ready-made videos but not streams. Please return everything as it was!

- Fantastic software even in free mode. Does what it says on the tin and downloads streaming videos. Very occasionally crashes which I suspect is more down to me overloading it. As pointed out by other reviewers, there appears to be limit of about 2GB whereupon it refuses to download any more of the file. A pity as this limit knocks one star off the rating but it's still a strong recommended.

- I could download 5 videos and then I bought Premium. Unfortunately, ever since the tool is not working any longer :-( It is just "waiting for media" and nothing seems to help.

- Recently it wont download video beyond 2.0gb. The download will stop when the file size reach exactly 2.0gb. And you get the uncomplete video. Why?

- Fast & MULTIPLE downloads! This makes spiraling down rabbit holes and depleting my computer of available storage super easy!! On impulse, I purchased the $20 "lifetime license" and it is money well spent. You definitely won't find me disputing my charges or asking for a refund! It quickly pulls up the available clips/videos to download without having to watch the ad before the video or refresh the page... if that makes sense? It makes sense to me. This also gave me a brief flashback to my childhood, searching for then downloading files and infecting the family computer with good ol LIMEWIRE. I'm trying to elaborate more, but the downloads... they're calling my name... they yearn to be organized and moved to an external hard drive. And it's so distracting... "Don't worry my precious lil files, daddy is on his way...."
