Megjegyzés: az összetett streaming protokollok és a videokonverzió támogatásához egy kísérőalkalmazás telepítése szükséges. Ennek az az oka, hogy a böngésző (sem a Chrome, sem a Firefox) nem biztosítja a szükséges felületet. A telepítés után a kísérőalkalmazást teljes mértékben a bővítmény kezeli, és nem kell aggódnia miatta. A kísérőalkalmazás ingyenes és nyílt forráskódú. Már több mint 10 millió alkalommal telepítették.
Megjegyzés: a Google WebStore korlátozásai miatt a bővítmény Chrome-verziója nem tölt le videókat a YouTube-ról. Erre a célra használja a Firefox vagy az Edge verziót.

- Wow one that actually works. Not full of ads either or locked behind a pay wall. Sort of. The extension gives you the full files and the maximum quality uploaded. I've downloaded files from youtube, streaming sites (ie movies), and videos from my classes. I've used it to obtain some files. As expensive as things are getting I can't bring my self to spend $150 on a dvd complete series or $40-60 on a single movie. Something about that isn't right. The ads on streaming services are getting worse and unregulated content. I'm tired of my shows disappearing because someone said so or popularity dropped.... The only draw back is 3 videos in 2 hrs or one every 2 hrs after that for the day. Roughly averaging 15-24 videos in a day. Assumingly you have all day to waist for that. That's the only drawback. One benefit of this is your cable company will not see a huge spike in data use age unlike old school days of torrenting. No limit on websites when and where with this thing. Just be careful and virus scan the files just in case. I only download from trusted sites.

- I actually paid for premium. I downloaded a few videos from a certain site thinking everything was fine. But when I went to watch. I realized that the audio syncing was fine in the beginning and by the middle of the video the audio syncing was off and by the end it was way off. Not sure why that is but video download helper is the only downloader that does this. Unfortunately I paid for this but can't really use it. I would give it 1 star however maybe it does work for shorter videos but not 2 hour plus ones.

- Not perfect because it doesn't always detect media on my sites, but when it does work when others don't it does it better than expected. Others that do work only grab a smaller/lower resolution version. Whereas this seems to always grab the larger version(s). The GUI could be a bit better, but overall its pretty good IMO. When I finally get my own computer up and running again (in boxes because I moved), I'll pay their purchase license to see if it hits 99.9% than the current 90%.
