Poznámka: Podpora zložitých streamovacích protokolov a konverzie videa vyžaduje inštaláciu sprievodnej aplikácie. Prehliadač (ani Chrome ani Firefox) totiž neposkytuje potrebné rozhranie. Po nainštalovaní je sprievodná aplikácia kompletne spravovaná doplnkom a vy sa o ňu nemusíte starať. Sprievodná aplikácia je bezplatná a má otvorený zdrojový kód. Bol nainštalovaný už viac ako 10 miliónov krát.
Poznámka: Kvôli obmedzeniam Google WebStore verzia doplnku pre Chrome nesťahuje videá zo služby YouTube. Na tento účel použite verziu Firefox alebo Edge.
