• (2024-05-23) Gabriel Ian Baculpo: As of this month, some YouTube videos have 480p as the max quality while this extension is enabled. I disabled it and the problem disappeared. I'll rate it 5 stars once it's fixed.

I switched to both the beta and non-beta version, I've uninstalled and reinstalled them, and it doesn't seem fix itself. It used to move a long time ago, that I remember clearly.

• (2023-09-12) Alex King: This is a great extension, but there's one annoying bug: it automatically enables looping after 2-3 videos when I try to play a playlist. Even if I turn it off, it turns back on after 2-3 videos. Removing the extension resolves the issue. I've also disabled looping in both the extension and YouTube settings.

Biggest ones for me are re-sizing video so it fills the whole screen without being fullscreen, forcing a specific resolution instead of whatever YouTube chooses (usually 480p), hiding the top bar, and built-in ad blocker. Devs seem pretty responsive and quick to solve issues, so that's great too.

Google and YouTube seem to have this delusional God complex at its highest levels that give them the insane notion that they know what is best for people more than People Know about themselves. You can even compare how similar YouTube itself is like a enormous thrift store of talent and creativity that is donated for free to these bastards and the greedy executives are inventing price tags for the consumers of content that they had nothing to do with and should be grateful for even being allowed to showcase. Yet the attitude seems to be as if they had created all of these entertaining and educational videos and the platform is just there political and money making agenda of liberal Freedom hating socialist viewpoints.

• (2023-04-12) blockshift 758: im only giving 3 stars because this is a BETA. but definitely will make it higher in the future. its still on beta but the thing that is already there are all amazing but some modifications are still needed like. like adding a separate scrollbar for the comments specially when its in the sidebar putting the comments on the sidebar also causes problem like recommended videos overlapping with the video player. definitely a great extension.

But it's not really working with the Dev or Canary version of Edge (I had to install those two versions because of the new ChatGPT4 AI Chat/Search, that's now built into Edge, a couple weeks ago it was a requirement if you wanted AI Chat/Search, not sure about now though)... It's not forcing youtube to always be greater than 1080p, it defaults to 480 even on a 1 gig UP/Down Xfinity internet connection... I'll try using the Edge version and see if that works VS. the Chrome extension. And I'll report back my experience. (Note: This is more of a "ME" problem I know, but just want to inform the Dev about this issue)

I set volume by mouse wheel ,but it make page to scroll down/up..not the volume.But this beta version fix it. So maybe i use this beta version for a while until the dev fix the normal version. One more thing, i love to have auto mini player when i scroll down the comments. Like Iridium extension did. it also have slight trasnparent background which very nice,where i can see related videos at the back. If ImproveYoutube have this auto mini player when scroll down the comments, let me know or teach me how to set it up. For now, i have to manually click pop up player ,mini player if want to scroll down the comments

If you look at the sub page, it constantly refreshes the whole page over and over cycling behind the themes. It also no longer applies the 2x speed either.
