• (2023-10-24) neeraja tatake: been using Improved YouTube for a two and a half years now. Suddenly the reverse playlist option is not working and neither is it's icon showing up for us to switch the whole playlist from 3, 2,1 to 1,2,3...please fix this.

• (2023-09-12) Alex King: This is a great extension, but there's one annoying bug: it automatically enables looping after 2-3 videos when I try to play a playlist. Even if I turn it off, it turns back on after 2-3 videos. Removing the extension resolves the issue. I've also disabled looping in both the extension and YouTube settings.

Biggest ones for me are re-sizing video so it fills the whole screen without being fullscreen, forcing a specific resolution instead of whatever YouTube chooses (usually 480p), hiding the top bar, and built-in ad blocker. Devs seem pretty responsive and quick to solve issues, so that's great too.

• (2023-04-30) Daymon: Most things work well though with Google and YouTube it has to be in uphill battle constantly I'm sure too give people options for their personal preferences concerning how they watch their videos. Google and YouTube seem to have this delusional God complex at its highest levels that give them the insane notion that they know what is best for people more than People Know about themselves. You can even compare how similar YouTube itself is like a enormous thrift store of talent and creativity that is donated for free to these bastards and the greedy executives are inventing price tags for the consumers of content that they had nothing to do with and should be grateful for even being allowed to showcase. Yet the attitude seems to be as if they had created all of these entertaining and educational videos and the platform is just there political and money making agenda of liberal Freedom hating socialist viewpoints.
• (2023-04-12) blockshift 758: im only giving 3 stars because this is a BETA. but definitely will make it higher in the future. its still on beta but the thing that is already there are all amazing but some modifications are still needed like. like adding a separate scrollbar for the comments specially when its in the sidebar putting the comments on the sidebar also causes problem like recommended videos overlapping with the video player. definitely a great extension.
• (2023-03-24) TheBullhorn Streamer: Still going to give this 4 stars because good luck getting anything close to this anywhere else... But it's not really working with the Dev or Canary version of Edge (I had to install those two versions because of the new ChatGPT4 AI Chat/Search, that's now built into Edge, a couple weeks ago it was a requirement if you wanted AI Chat/Search, not sure about now though)... It's not forcing youtube to always be greater than 1080p, it defaults to 480 even on a 1 gig UP/Down Xfinity internet connection... I'll try using the Edge version and see if that works VS. the Chrome extension. And I'll report back my experience. (Note: This is more of a "ME" problem I know, but just want to inform the Dev about this issue)

• (2023-03-20) aman amana456: this beta version fix volume shortcut when i use ImproveYoutube normal version. I set volume by mouse wheel ,but it make page to scroll down/up..not the volume.But this beta version fix it. So maybe i use this beta version for a while until the dev fix the normal version. One more thing, i love to have auto mini player when i scroll down the comments. Like Iridium extension did. it also have slight trasnparent background which very nice,where i can see related videos at the back. If ImproveYoutube have this auto mini player when scroll down the comments, let me know or teach me how to set it up. For now, i have to manually click pop up player ,mini player if want to scroll down the comments

• (2023-03-05) Colin Stuart: DID love this extension, but a few days ago this extension totally breaks youtube. If you set YT to dark mode, this addon now flips it back to light mode. If you look at the sub page, it constantly refreshes the whole page over and over cycling behind the themes. It also no longer applies the 2x speed either. PLEASE FIX theme / reload issue and speed issue.

One thing I have to say though is that I was testing around and in "Appearance, Comments" the hide avatar button allows me to hide avatars but NEVER get them back without uninstalling this app. If this gets fixed then this is an incredibly cool application and I can't find any other bugs!

• (2021-11-20) Tyler: My all-time favorite extension. I've been using it for nearly two years and it has greatly improved my YouTube experience. My favorite features are 1) being able to set the default quality and 2) being able to resize the video to the full window. The developer of this is legit a wizard. I have no idea how they made this. There is no other YouTube extension out there that can do as much as this one, or do it as well as this one. 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended.

• (2021-02-19) Jess: I was a bit disappointed with the reverse playlist option. :C Was hoping it would help fix those long playlists made up of several hundred vids from a single person (when the option to add a playlist isn't there), but instead it can only handle, what looks to be 79 or 80 videos and stops there. Not bad, but ultimately not what I was looking for. Overall good though.

My Pc can handle 4k@30 and some of 4k@60 , I use from years this extension for chrome to downgrade 4k60 to 30... but the google made something with youtube few monuths ago, since then neither this nor other similar ones work. ( if block 60 to 30 te resulution is go down 720p!)

• (2020-12-28) 짱이승: 재생 목록중 반대로 기능을 활성화하면 새로고침하면 ↑↓버튼이 검은색으로 나오며 그거 누르면 뒤바뀌긴 하지만 뒤바뀐 후에 영상을 새로고침해도 그 영상이 끝나고 다음 영상으로 넘어가지 않는다면 뒤바뀐상태 그대로 유지되긴 하는데 그상태에서 다음 영상으로 넘어가면 무조건 재생목록의 최근영상이 틀어지고 재생목록 순서는 그대로일때도 있고 다시 원래대로 되돌아갈때도 있습니다. 그리고 유튜브 되감기속도란게 있는데 이 기능이 대체 무엇인지 단축키는 뭔지 단축키에서도 안나와있네요. 되감기 속도란게 원래 있었던가? 싶기도하고. 예전에 재생속도 조절하는거랑 재생속도 조절하는 단축키같은게 있었던것 같은데 그건 사라졌네요.
