One tiny thing I'd ask for is if the screenshot could automatically source the background color of the element's page it's taking the screenshot from. Say I'm taking a screenshot of an icon on a page. The icon itself is a transparent PNG and the page is grey. It would be great if the add-on was able to source the bg color as well. Otherwise, this is a perfect thing for those who admire FF's screenshot tool and want the same functionality in Chrome!

• (2024-10-21) Paul Sullivan: Every single screenshot has a white background. Even if the background in the actual page is black or any other color. I legit do not understand how other people are enjoying this extension. It's utterly useless.

The only downside is that after an element is clicked, a pop up of that element appears as PNG, which you have to right click and save as image manually. It should automatically save the image as soon as the highlighted element is clicked! If this problem could be resolved in the next update then the extension would be impeccable!!! I gave it 4 stars just because of this issue. If this issue gets resolved, the extension is a solid 5 star.

My intention was to take a photo of an element of the page that was larger than the screen size and page had to be scrolled to see all of it. Most of the extensions do not have the ability to capture the elements of page individually, and the ones that had, do not process capturing of elements with size larger than the page/screen properly and have many bugs. But this plugin did all this in the best possible way and with simplicity.

This extension worked great for a few days but for the last few days I have been getting ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND whenever trying to click the icon to download an image. I will reinstall the extension and see if that fixes the problem. Reinstalling the extension did not fix the problem, the download icon no longer appears to work. However you can still right click the generated image and choose "Save File As". Overall great extension, if you are gathering evidence for a court case this extension is a must have, just saying... 🤷‍♂️

• (2022-12-09) Patrik B.: Exactly what I was looking for! The add-on is operated very simply. For me, it is the equivalent of Firefox's screenshot tool, which is amazing, and was, quite frankly, the main reason I used Firefox. I was looking for the same in other browsers, but only this add-on is the closest sibling. I haven't found anything better and I tried many add-ons in the Chrome store, so if you want something that's similar to Firefox's embedded screenshot tool, with simplicity and ease of use in mind, look no further! Many thanks for the maker of this awesome tool! 🙏
