MyBib: Free Citation Generator

I'm an MSW student and this tool has been super helpful for my assignments. The Chrome extension works great! I would love to be able to copy and paste a whole reference list instead of having to export it.

love but I wish there was a better way to go to the main webpage or a way to search by doi. if you try to use it on the google page it gives a link at the bottom to the site, but it goes away when you're on a site that could be cited, even though it is just citing the overall webpage not the actual document being cited.

I am meant to be working right now but I saw the mention of leave a review and I thought why not. They deserve it. MyBib is actually the best most helpful thing to have ever been created.. the ux + ui design is super simple to navigate and it makes referencing an absolute breeze. Plus the best part as a student is that it's free! Would (and have) recommend to everybody.

Till now it is the best citation generator in easy way. Keep it up.

Love this! Only insight I can offer is that the extension version should allow you to choose a font, making it easier to add it to ongoing projects.

I have tried to use this for APA 7th edition, but it is inaccurate more often than not in how it formats my references. Hopefully this can be fixed to format correctly, because I love the thought of having something like this available, but its unfortunate that it cannot be trusted for use.

I am a college student who was struggling to create citations for the dozens of sources that I use on a regular basis. MyBib is now an essential tool that I use for all of my projects. I cannot recommend this enough! The speed at which it generates both full citations and in-text is amazing and has likely saved me many mistakes that I would have otherwise made by doing it manually.

Great app. Capitalization on journals and articles is not always accurate, but otherwise very helpful!

It's a really good citation generator! No ads and not very laggy like other websites. Im very happy about this tool. Highly recommend!

Love this extension! Easily the best way to get citations done quickly. Not ad-ridden and insanely laggy like many/most other citation-generating websites. Very user-friendly and everything works great. Sometimes when analyzing websites it will miss something but it is uncommon (even more than other citation generators) and very easily fixable. Great experience and I'm glad I found this!

I'm loving this extension! Super powerful. Our school district approved it for student use as long as they don't sign in, but it has so much functionality without signing in. I would recommend that the MLA style and APA styles be updated with the new MLA style formatting recommendations: https://style.mla.org/citing-generative-ai/, https://apastyle.apa.org/blog/how-to-cite-chatgpt.

Flags Proquest database as a non-credible source because of "missing info" that isn't actually missing. Seems okay on the open web.

Great! I would suggest to allow selecting in which project from my list a new reference should be saved. A new reference is save by default in the last project, then I have to manually change it to the proper project.
