Easily adjust various sound settings (volume, balance, etc.) via toolbar popup.
Sound Adjustment is a lite extension that lets you easily adjust a few sound settings from the toolbar popup.
Currently, there are six options to adjust. The first one is volume, the second is balance and, the last one is amplify. All these settings are stored for the current tab only. Once you change tabs, settings are reset to defaults. The volume setting is from 0 to 100 units. The balance variable changes from (-100%) to (+100%), where -100% is the left speaker only and (+100%) is the right one. Any value between these numbers divides the sound output between speakers proportionally. The last setting is for the amplify option, which amplifies the output sound from 100% to 500%. 100 is the original level and, 500 makes the output sound five times louder than the normal settings. The last three options are related to 3D audio spatializations, where you can adjust the position of the panner or listener in 3D space. Furthermore, three buttons are at the bottom-right corner of the popup. From left to right, are the reload (to reload the active tab), support, and donation buttons.
Note 1: By default, all the adjustments are non-persistent, meaning if the active tab is reloaded, the sound is reverted to the original setting. If you want to make it persistent, please press the PERSISTENT button at the top header (it asks for permission to access the current domain).
Note 2: This add-on only works for HTML5 audio and video elements. Moreover, currently, the add-on does not work for media elements embedded in frames.
Note 3: The toolbar popup interface supports dark mode. To switch the interface theme to dark, please press the moon icon on the bottom toolbar.

- For when your Ear buds don't specify which is left and which is right. Once I use the balance tool to find out which is which I mark them with a marker and replace the soft cover for the right earbud with a red colored one!

- This is a great concept but has one very annoying issue; Even though it "remembers" the setting, it doesn't ENFORCE it. I get blasted by the high volume on FB reels, and I go into this extension and I see that the volume slider is very low. If I then nudge the slider a tiny bit, the volume adjusts to where it should be. It's better than not having any way to change the volume, but I sure wish it would actually work as advertised.

- The lack of dark theme makes it unusable for me. I usually watch stuff late evening before sleep. Every time I click on it it hurts my eyes.

- OK WHAT HAPPENED!? There was a new permission requirement per site to be affected. And now anytime you go to the same page it loads the same audio profile. This used to be a PER TAB extension, not a PER SITE one. If you are going to stick the changes so hard you ABSOLUTE NEED a function to reset the audio settings because currently there ZERO way to fix the screwed up audio when this extension is no longer needed (for me its when I am no longer watching 2 streams at once, and back to watching just one).

- Sucks really bad for youtube music use. Once you start a playlist and use this extension to amp it up its fine for that video, the next video will drop back down to the default volume even though the app setting hasn't changed. To get it louder again you have to click the extension, lower the amp and raise it back up, for EVERY SINGLE VIDEO.

- I got this extension because one side of my headphones were quieter than the other side and this fixed the problem. I wish that there was a way that I can keep the setting for every tab so I don't have to keep on adding it but it might come in a later update
