- Ever since my go to Youtube extensions began dying, this was the only other option I've been able to find that has pretty much every feature I wanted. Love this extension and thank you to everyone involved. However, it seems to have a minor but annoying issue. Sometimes the extension disappears from the page (i.e the buttons and features vanish). I think it might be related to how I use PiP, like if I click on another tab with a PiP popup open. Sometimes the buttons come back after closing the popup and refreshing, other times I have to disable/re-enable the extension to get it working again Thankfully I found Extensity which made this process less of a headache. Idk just freaks me out for a moment when the buttons are gone lol

- Mostly good QoL stuff but even though I have no adblocker enabled for youtube.com, I'm gettting popups from YouTube saying I'm using an adblocker. It'd be nice if that wasn't happening. Otherwise, I love this extension.

- R E Q U I R E D if you are a YouTube addict. Thank you for adding the 'remove auto dubbing' feature. I can't believe that YouTube added that without giving their creators an option to opt out. I use this add-on to hide shorts/ai-slop features that they're trying to force on us, so any improvements and continued support to those ends from the developers for this add-on are greatly appreciated! Incredible add-on~!

- This Normally works great - but there are some issues causing my browser to freeze up hard when watching videos now. It was probably an update on YouTube's end - but hoping the creators of this plugin fix it soon!

- I had been using it without issues, but at some point, I started facing a problem where the Home, Playlist, and Video List tabs on YouTube channels would crash the page. I couldn't interact with anything on those tabs until I closed them. At first, I thought it was an issue with the Chrome browser, so I switched to another Chrome-based browser, but after reinstalling the extension, the same issue occurred. To find the cause, I used Chrome Developer Tools' debugger feature to check which code was causing the issue, and I found that it was hanging at the following section in the extension's blocklist.js: this.blocklistChannelObserver = new MutationObserver(function () { if (!button.isConnected) { node.parentNode.parentNode.appendChild(button); } }); When I disabled the blocklist feature, the problem stopped occurring.

- More than half of the options don't work. Every Chrome update something causes more options to not work at all. Autoplay was the last thing to stop working.

- Just installed this today, it was able to solve my biggest issues at the moment, remove shorts and clearly mark videos that I have already watched. I do wish there was some sort of indication of what every feature does, but I am sure I can figure it out, and if not, I will head to your Github page for some answers. Great extension!

- Unfortunately it has started to make Youtube very slow, despite ad-blocking function not being activated. I guess some function of the extension is misinterpreted by youtube as an ad-block and so Youtube activates its aggressive anti-ad-blocking function. Hope you will fix this issue.

- it seems to work then out of no where the site breaks, youtube flagged me for using a blocker then gave me a black screen. i had to remove all blockers and non worked until i removed this and now youtube works. then i put it back and it still works, but minus the ad. so i don't know if mine was corrupt or an update messed it up but it seems to work again, but it also broke it, so i'm giving it a 3.

- Used to work perfectly fine. Now it just breaks YouTube's player. Some of the extra buttons that I want displayed are there, but that's about it - The rest of the functionality is a hit or miss - It will either work or not work at all. In addition to this, some settings won't get enabled or disabled, even if I turn them on or off in the settings of the extension. I will not be using this extension anymore, and I don't recommend anyone else to use it either.

- It is sad to me that in order to have a semi-functional enjoyable experience on youtube I have to use 3-4 extensions but this extension makes that easier to forget about. It reminds me of the early days of the internet where the user came first. The amount of options for customization available is really just exciting. The extension does break when first booting chrome requiring you to open a video then refresh the page for some things to work but you usually only have to do that once per boot (small price to pay). The ability to block Youtube Playables, increase or decrease the number of videos per row on the home screen and remove the "for you" section on youtuber's pages would consolidate my extensions by 2. It would also be nice to be able to block videos with fewer than 1000 views that were posted over a day ago as youtube seemingly has been pushing low quality content like crazy recently.

- New features must be added due to YouTube's changes. - "Always on Progress bar" problem (the dot still shows after the cursor is moved away). - Fix the videos, posts, and shorts row and column (or customize the row and column choice because YouTube has gotten worse). For the time being, I believe that these two are the most crucial. The last update was in December 2024, which was 5 months ago. Are you still alive, Developer?

- Update 01/04/2025. This broke YouTube for me. After months of wondering if my Brave browser was at fault or one of my pihole lists, I decided to make a new fresh browser profile and YouTube worked! Added my normal mix of extensions(bitwarden, editThiscookie, webscrobbler, tamper-monkey) but prior to loading this extension YouTube was working and soon as I installed it YouTube refused to work. What was happening? I was being told my adblocker was being detected and blah blah. Whatever you're doing this is being detected and an ad blocker by YouTube, Think you need to address that. -----Older review-------- The only way to use YouTube, Better than all the other attempts

- I used to love the 'Improve YouTube!' ๐ง extension โ been a loyal user for many years straight. But lately, itโs been super buggy and kinda broke the whole vibe. Now, whenever I go to the โVideosโ tab on any channel, the page just freezes, loads forever, and tanks my entire browserโs performance. The only way out is a full reload โ major pain. Another annoying thing: when I resize the browser while watching a video, the video keeps playing, but everything else breaks. I canโt click anything. Whole page just glitches out. And sometimes, my settings donโt even load properly. The extension feels half-broken at this point. On top of that, it automatically pauses every video when I first click play, and also makes YouTube take longer to load in general after turning it on. I even tried enabling features one by one to troubleshoot, starting with the essential ones โ still no fix. It sucks, but I had to disable it for now. I really miss using it. Please fix these issues or add an option to prevent all these bugs without slowing down the browser or the site.
