Amplía las imágenes/vídeos en todos tus sitios favoritos (Facebook, Amazon, etc). Coloca el ratón sobre cualquier imagen en cualquiera de los sitios soportados y la extensión lo ampliará automáticamente a su tamaño original, asegurándose que queda dentro de la ventana del navegador.
Esta es una versión de código abierto (open source) de la extensión original HoverZoom, la cual fue plagada de virus y borrada de la tienda. En esta versión todos los virus fueron eliminados, varios errores corregidos, y nuevas características fueron agregadas. Por defecto, no recopila ninguna estadística. El único permiso que necesita es acceder a los datos en todos los sitios web (para extraer imágenes completas), y permisos *opcionales* para acceder al historial del navegador, descargar/guardar imágenes u obtener las urls de las fichas para la configuración por sitio.
Algunas veces los sitios cambian su diseño o estructura interna, y cuando eso pase la extensión necesita ser actualizada. Por favor reporta cualquier inconveniente cuando el zoom no esté funcionando usando la pestaña de soporte, o en nuestra página de github 'https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues'.

- It just resets itself on Reddit all the time – it will not work. I turn OFF "Disable for old.reddit.com" and refresh and it KEEPS COMING BACK WITH THE CHECKMARK ON IT.

- It's good in viewing enlarge images without actuallty visit that original site. What is lacking in this extension is that images on google search in form of templates ain't enlarging. Why?

- Great, not a bad replacement for imagus there's one feature i'd like though. if on hover an image acts like its locked (so you can zoom and right click and everything) but when your mouse leaves the bounds of the image it goes away, so you don't have to hit escape or click elsewhere on the page to get rid of it each time also the images seem to always center when locked for some reason

- One of the Best Extensions Around! To the Reviewer named Cecil H.Y., and Anyone Else Whom Thinks that a Button is Required to Activate This Extension: Go Into the Extension's Settings (Right-Click the Extension's Icon, Click "Options"), Then Go to the "Advanced" Tab and the First Setting Available is Titled "Activate HoverZoom+" which Allows You to Select a Key to Press to Activate the Extension. Set it to the Option Titled "None". Or Even Better Yet, Just Click the Extension's Icon and a Keybinding Menu will Pop-up Allowing You to Change the Activation Method of All of the Features Offered. If the "Activate HoverZoom+" Option being changed doesn't Solve the Problem, Change the Option "Toggle HoverZoom+" to "None" as well and the Problem should be Solved...

- 1. I usually find myself too lazy to write reviews on Chrome extensions, but my personal rating for this plugin goes through the goddamn roof! 2. You really need to familiarize yourself with all the options to get the best out of it. EDIT: An option to export/import settings has been implemented. Thank you!

- Thank Heaven! I used this for a long time and was really bummed when it was disabled. I tried several other zoom extensions and NONE of them were a decent replacement. This is the easiest to use, most intuitive and doesn't interfere with things it should not. So happy it's back!

- It was okay until the recent Window 10 update. Which prompted Chrome to do an update as well. All extensions which have this type of feature to zoom images have been disabled by Chrome permanently. **Update Apr 17, 2025** Since Google revamped the Chrome store, this extension has gone through several changes since my first review back in March 23, 2018 - from working for me, to not working, then working again, then not working for each release or update. After awhile I moved to a different Extension and it worked fine (Imagus) but since the revamp it kinda works but not all the time.. With Imagus I'm finding some pages don't load the zoomed image properly. So I'm back - but the newest change I realized Hover Zoom+ could now load PDF thumbs from my Google Drive. But the site I once used it for, is back to being "not working" again. So I guess I need to wait for a patch or re-release to have it working. The site uses large page thumbs and when clicked open each image in a darkened page pop-up. But now instead of opening, hovering the mouse on the image has it show the max size of the thumb but within the default frame instead of a pop-up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

- As others have said, recent change has forced me to stop using this extension. I'd suggest others to look into PhotoShow or other similar extensions.

- I have been using this extension for years, but i didn't like the last update about permissions. Why do you need a permission to manage my downloads? This extension already worked well until now without this permission.

- According to you, you don't want to compromise users' data, but recently you have requested new permissions to handle this information. Read browsing history. Block content from any page. Manage downloads. Honestly, I don’t know why you would need this. It doesn’t help the extension at all; it only serves to collect more user data.

- When this extension was disabled after Google turned off support for manifest 2, I finally realized how useful it was to me. Finally after the update, it is working again and it is wonderful.

- This is the best chrome extension for images by far. It saves a lot of time, specially if you're constantly searching images and need to have a closer look without having to do any extra clicks. Glad to see it come back to the chrome web store.

- Prima funzionava molto bene mentre ora, soprattutto su facebook, non riesce più ad ingrandire le foto, avrei anche dato 5 stelle piene, ma non va più bene come prima. Dopo 8 anni modifico la recensione aggiungendo una stella perchè solitamente funziona molto bene anche se non dappertutto. Speriamo che venga aggiornata altrimenti come già avverte Crome smetterà di funzionare. Dopo anni di onorato servizio, nonostante sembra sia stata aggiornata il 25 febbraio 2025, oggi chrome l'ha disattivata. Speriamo in un aggiornamento che risolva.
