• (2025-08-12) Too difficult to install and use. Installation screen too busy with AI instructions, many options mixed with News items, upgrades and sales. I need a simple system to save my passwords. Going back to my own notebook! - very secure and easy to use. I haven't got the time/patience to follow all instructions. Thanks anyways. JK

• (2025-08-06) Generally I really like Roboform, but it has many inconsistencies between platforms, PCs and phones and tablets. Second, it does not always create accurate new login credentials and one must edit newly created entries for accuracy. Third, it does not at all understand that some websites use/require a secondary and different password for options after login with the site password. Options like a purchase password or withdrawal password cause Roboform to want to update the site/login password and that must be dismissed. Fourth, it has been my experience that Roboform does not always offer to fill in my username and password when I have the desired site login window already open, which is frustrating. I dumped a different password manager because it was even worse and have not tried others, simply because, even with the faults mentioned, Roboform still works well.

• (2025-08-03) the best app around, works everywhere and is very important to protect from fishing and spam mail since it will not offer a password if a fishing mail ask you to access a fake account. Roboform does not recognize a legitime link and therefore does NOT offer a login, this should be your first warning something is not correct. Love being using for almost 10 year now
• (2025-07-28) I have been using RoboForm since Dec 29, 2017, and I have never encountered any problem. RoboForm is the best and safest option for me.
• (2025-07-28) The extension version 9.7.6.7 does not work with the latest version of Chrome. It is written on all forums and in artificial intelligence. Please fix the problem in a timely manner and release a new version, what are you waiting for?!
• (2025-07-27) Very good, very reliable for many years -- perhaps decades(?)! I have it on all PCs, phones, etc. It syncs across multiple machines and browsers, which I love. I do have one problem - on my new Windows 11 machine, I cannot get the lower toolbar to appear, no matter how many "how to" articles I read online or what browser I use. The "show lower toolbar" option just doesn't appear in any of the various dropdown menus. Puzzling. But with the Roboform logo in the top toolbar, I can stop using the lower toolbar altogether, saving a little real estate on my screen. I'm currently trying to wean myself off of expecting there to be that lower toolbar there(!). I guess I kind of take Roboform for granted now, but I think it's my most used software. On any new machine, it's the first thing I get running in the first hour of use!
• (2025-07-26) 99% of time I like this app and have for over 12 years. Sometimes it gets tangled with a site's security protocols but that is rare. I use up to 4 different browsers at the same time and it works with all of them.

• (2025-07-25) Thought it would be a good choice. Was easy to install, but it keeps changing passwords to match other users on our computers. An example is: My boss has a amazon business account and I have an amazon personal account. Roboform keeps changing either my password to his or visa-versa. On top of that it SAVE it. wiping out the real password. Nearly a daily issue with one site or another. Sure glad I actually have a spreadsheet of our passwords actually printed out. Would spend half the day having to deal with changing passwords. Going to have to get rid of this this weekend.
• (2025-07-24) Have used RoboForm for I don't know how many years; I use it across all my devices, and it's been a sturdy, stalwart addition to my browser extensions and programs. Would definitely recommend it.

• (2025-07-24) Doesnt always find my password so I need to look it up manually in roboform. A newer version I cant even see the password, which is annoying. Also the generate password button does not always come up when you need it.

Able to log in on android, and other windows and apple devices but not this machine. Customer for many years. Contacted support (as I've had to do many times over the years (with varying competency in support), and initial response was "known issue, wait for update". As if that's an acceptable outcome. And why then working on other devices? Persisted asking for support, have received excuses and apathy, spanning days.

• (2025-07-07) STILL NO RESPONSE FROM ROBOFORM: I wrote (2025/07/03 03:56 pm EDT) - Contacting support: Whenever I log in, it opens another screen, then opens another separate screen un-necessarily. Two screen opens separately - please see attached (provided attachments - see my open ticket sent to you online) This never used to happen before, this is extremely frustrating and complete non-sense. Kindly provide quick fix for this.

• (2025-06-27) I have been using Roboform for many years. I like it works very well for me, especially when switching between devices. There are free password managers out there, but I would rather pay for this and get quality software.
• (2025-06-24) Current version of addon does not work at all. The support can't resolve the problem for a few weeks. They write to every user that the problem resolved in last vesions of application and addon. But this is a lie. Do they just write the common "well looking" reply? Very disappointing behaviour.
• (2025-06-23) Would like to update this back to 5-stars, but since the last update V9, the Chrome extension won't work. I have spent a lot of time the past 4 days following the instructions of support by email ticket, uninstalling, re-installing both the program on my desktop and the extension in Chrome. The extension is still greyed out and I have requested senior support help. I am a 10+ year customer and still waiting to get a fix for this. Will update my review if it gets solved.....
• (2025-06-23) Was great. Stopped working with their update a few weeks ago. You'll see in other reviews that they sent out another update (9.7.2.3) which also does not work. Their support told me it was my network administrator blocked the software. Nope. Truth is they don't know what's wrong with it. Only older versions of the software are currently working. Avoid until this issue is resolved.

• (2025-06-13) Ever since the recent update on June 9, 2025, this extension will no longer work on my Chromebook. It will work on my Android phone, but I much prefer using it on my desktop. Everything is current (version) and up to date. VERY unhappy, especially after paying for the 5-year plan. We need another update to cancel out and fix this update!

• (2025-06-10) RoboForm Chrome Extension ver 9.7.1 BROKE the chrome extension. I am on the current version of roboform desktop (9.7.5.5), and the chrome extension is GREYED OUT. Clicking on the extension producing a blank white box. Right-clicking on the extension and clicking "options" produces the error "Cannot connect with background: Not implemented". I've uninstalled, reinstalled everything. I've cleared cache & cookies. NOTHING HAS WORKED. The extension is still working in Firefox & Edge, but as my main browser is Chrome, I hope this is fixed soon. If so, I will update this review, as I have used Roboform for over 10 years, and this is the first problem I've ever had with it.

• (2025-06-10) Complete junk now when I try to log in from the extension or webpage using latest Chrome I get a pop up box stating "Cannot Log In in offline mode" with a "Retry" and "Cancel" button that does absolutely nothing. Extension work fine in Firefox. Running on Ubuntu on a Liunx system.
• (2025-06-10) No longer works in chrome as of 6/9/2025. Some update on chrome I guess. Could be the extension itself as it's not working on Brave either (chromium based browser.)
