• (2023-10-24) Josh Baer: Even thought it's not supported anymore, it still worked better than most autoplay blockers. Now it doesn't work on certain sites though, causing my whole computer to freeze when they try to load and play a live streaming video. Generally works on most sites still, but where it doesn't it fails big.

До этого начинали воспроизводиться со звуком даже превью в ленте Дзена и, чтобы ночью вдруг не заорало какое-то из этих превью, надо было старательно следить, чтобы нечаянно не навести курсор на какое-нибудь превью. Расширения из магазина Оперы не помогли. Большая благодарность разработчикам!
• (2023-09-16) Alexandre: It supports YouTube and disables its autoplay in 2023. Google Chrome and all other Chromium-based browsers such as Chromium, Brave, Vivaldi and Opera used to have a flag setting that allowed us to disable autoplay for the entire browser, but since Google removed it from Chromium, all other browsers just followed the path and removed it as well. No one re-added or worked in a solution, Brave promised to do something about but haven't done anything till now. Nowadays we'll need to rely on dated and unsupported extensions like this but that still works, at least.

Установил, изначально уже функция включена! Зашел на YouTube, запустил видео, и не чего нет, пусто по умолчанию должен запустится плеер HTML5 но он отключился, браузер грузил секунд 15 да очень долго! Но у меня пк очень слабый! Наконец видео пошло по умолчанию у меня 480 в первые без глюков пошло!!! Переключил на 720, пару раз тормознулось но потом разработалось и все супер! Короче то что раньше глючило и с трудом шло теперь работает великолепно!

  We understand the developer needs to move on to greener pastures but there is still a need for this to keep on living. Among the developer's reasons for support is is that Chromium initiated a project to incorporate the requirement natively. Yet from what we can gather, it now seems as though that initiative is either stalled or abandoned. For sure this is not a simple task but we would just ask those who are capable to seriously consider bringing this extension back to life again. Thanks for listening.

  I've used this extension for about a year and a few months ago I began having problems with my home computer locking up when using browsers like Chrome and Firefox. Surfing webpages will make the entire computer unresponsive. I thought this was a localized problem with my computer until I downloaded this extension on my computer at work and instantly started having the same problems I've had on my home PC (win 7); work computer is a MAC. Disabling and removing the extension does not solve the problem. How can I restore functionality to my browsers?
