• (2024-04-16) Laszlo Stadler: Fortunately Bitwarden released the browser overlay feature, which makes the experience much better, but usability is still lacking, and I hope it will be improved. The identities part especially need some work. First of all, if clicking on the name of the identity it wants to autofill, and the icon opens the details. This is very confusing, because most of the time clicking the name opens the detail for password, so I always do this one wrong. And then what is very irritating is that the fields do not have a copy button, I have to select and copy the details myself. Please fix this! Also, opening the web vault from the addin where you are logged in, should not require a password again (at least make this an option)
• (2024-04-01) Jeffrey Schiller: Works great! I use the self-hosted version and I can verify that it stores everything encrypted, including the names of websites. The only thing not protected is your email address, which it needs to know in order to log you in. Some other password managers only encrypt password, leaving other information, like the websites you visit, available to anyone who can compromise the service.

• (2024-01-25) Steve: Another LastPass refugee here. Took me awhile to switch over to another password manager and Bitwarden has been working out fine so far. I find it less cluttered and easier to use than LassPass. Hopefully the free version will continue to work well for me. If it does, I will move on to the paid version. If it doesn't, I'll move on to another manager.

Now there is no way to LOCK the extension without powering off your Chromebook. It seems the developers feel this SECURITY APP requires less security! What an incredibly stupid move!!! Looks like it's time to find a different password locker app.

• (2024-01-18) SilhyGames: Honestly, the extension itself is fine, but trying to use biometrics with it has been a nightmare. It requires syncing with a desktop app that almost never syncs, and requires you to use your master password anyways. So much for security or quality assurance.

• (2024-01-15) Sascha: NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!!!! Nach 2 Jahren intensiver Nutzung hätte ich vor einer Woche noch eine 100% Empfehlung rausgehauen. Aber ich komme seit Tagen nicht mehr an meinen Web Tresor. In den Browser Erweiterungen in denen ich mich abmelde komme ich nicht mehr rein. Die anderen kann ich mit meinem Master-Passwort entsperren (mit dem komme ich nicht mehr in den Webtresor) aber nicht mehr ändern/speichern. Es kommen sinnlose Fehlermeldungen. Lege ich ein neues Konto an, kann ich darin ganz normal arbeiten -aber eben nicht mehr mit meinen gespeicherten Daten. Übrigends Keepass nutze ich schon ewig und hatte nie Probleme damit. Für mich ist das Tool damit gestorben.

Se você está considerando adotar esse provedor recomendo que procure outro. já estou pensando em migrar tudo para algum outro que não de tanto problema
• (2024-01-08) Vitek UA: чудовий сервіс і нормальне розширення. післа того як lastpass став працювати тільки на одному девайсі одночасно, довго думав куди перейти. порадили цей сервіс бо він опенсорс і має усі необхідні функции у безкоштовній версіі а головне не чув щоб його ламали. взагалі мені все подобалося, але потім я знайшов тут функцію що генерує otp коди. але щоб їх подивитись треба підписка. оскільки функція корисна, а ціна була в районі 300 грн/рік, оплатив. тепер в мене всі моі коди підтвердження у одному місці і з будь якого девайсу. отож рекомендую, це потужний сервіс який може як безкоштовно задовільнити потреби, так і за невелику вартість задовольнити більш специфічні питання.
• (2024-01-07) Pary: Works great until you need to sync, then it fails repeatedly. Not entirely sure why, might be because I use a VPN, might be because I use other extensions? Whatever the reason, it's a pain to have to uninstall the extension then reinstall it.
