- (2025-07-13) Muhammad Eltiti: A Trusted Vault That Betrayed Me! I lost thousands of dollars worth of crypto because of the LastPass breach. My Ledger recovery phrase was stored only in a LastPass secure note — not on any device or cloud — and yet my wallet was drained. LastPass never clearly warned users that their entire encrypted vaults were exfiltrated and could be brute-forced over time. The communication was slow, vague, and dismissive. And even after sharing full evidence, they refused to take any responsibility. I trusted LastPass to protect my most sensitive data. Instead, I got silence, denial, and financial loss. If you care about security, look elsewhere.
- (2025-07-11) Bill Kubik: I've been stuck in some kind of loop where I cant sign in on any of my browsers. Pretty much useless now
- (2025-07-08) Egor: After forgetting my LastPass master password I had no way of getting back into my LastPass account their support links weren't helpful the emails were no better ether. Given the last pass hack years ago I have now resorted to tracking all my passwords the old fashioned way. This app is just not reliable.
- (2025-07-07) John Tierney: This is a horrible password manager that has just been getting worse. On my PC, it keeps demanding I enter the password, and then it tells me I must either try to log in again or look for an email from LastPass -- an email that never arrives. Meanwhile, i enter the EXACT SAME password on my Android phone, and it works. So it's now worthless on my PC -- I have to use my Android phone to see passwords for other sites and then nd manually enter them on my PC. AS soon as I have a break in my schedule, I'm switching to another app. This used to be a good ap. Too bad they ruinedkit.
- (2025-07-05) Matt Tovey: Desktop Chrome plugin keeps logging itself out and won't log in. No error message, no way to fix it. What a PITA.
- (2025-07-04) Yoni Sade: Extension sometimes does not save/fill all form fields (for example on AWS login screen), other than that it's pretty good (I hope it's secure enough)
- (2025-07-02) Peggy Yujiri: Used to work great but now it constantly stops working every couple days and I have to remove and reinstall. What an incredible pain in the butt!! Thinking of changing to another password manager. Online forums gave a few suggestions but none of the fixed the issue.
- (2025-06-30) Mary Roark: cannot delete multiple passwords. if the app cannot handle such a basic task, how anybody can trust them with your passwords. everybody should stop using it and switch to google chrome passwords.
- (2025-06-29) 00: Paid for the family plan 7 months ago and have been having login issues ever since. The FAM is NOT happy that this no longer works like intended. I won't be renewing if it doesn't get fixed soon.
- (2025-06-28) MC Diva: This program isn't working properly and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times. When I open the program each morning it will not work for logging into my saved accounts and I have to do many things to get it to work. My subscription is about to renew and I am considering not doing that for I don't like to have to sit on hold for help from support. Many times you can't even understand the support person and everyone does something different. Not worth the cost at all. Time to look for another program that actually works like it should.
- (2025-06-24) Eric Brown: I can't find a way to open a proper ticket. Users of my app are unable to use the autofill & login when they have this extension enabled. It is posting to the wrong endpoint when logging in. Is it somehow incompatible with Spring Security? The j_spring_security_check is trying to post directly to our index page (only available after authentication) instead of our backend login page. Why is this extension storing index.html as the login URL? Thank you.
- (2025-06-19) Marcelo Pereira: The extension mostly works, but it has some issues that haven't been resolved in years: - it does not log out automatically, even when configured to do so. - the launch functionality is not to be trusted. I've had cases where the extension keeps trying repeatedly to log into some website while filling the form incorrectly, which got my account blocked. It would be best to be able to open the website and fill in the form, but without submitting. And especially without retrying the submit. Latest bug now: - Copying a generated password to the clipboard stopped working. Also when compared to competitors like 1Password, it lacks nice features (by the way, it seems LastPass is just dormant in terms of features, it is not even trying to catch up to others): - Save the information when login is done via SSO. I sometimes have to look for credentials in lastpass, and after I don't find them, I need to figure out which service I used to log in, by scavenging emails. 1Password saves this information (e.g. you logged here with your Google account), as a general extension designed to help with logging in should. I don't care that features are added constantly, but if a competitor finds something that is genuinely helpful, I would expect a paid service like LastPass to adopt these improvements too.
- (2025-06-17) S Kumar: Now became piece of $hit... keeps logging out. will be switching to new tool soon.
- (2025-06-15) max jayam: keeps logging me out and every time trying to login asking for mail verification
- (2025-06-10) Danny Stevens: Last pass keeps login me out every 2 hours is this a new change?
- (2025-06-06) Scott Tappan: There appears to be a few issues with the interface. I'm on a Droid, and I have to enter the master password every time to initiate a saved password from Last Pass. And quite often when I go to a site where I previously established a Last Pass password, Last Pass doesn't appear. Basically, I'm locked out of the site until I change the password when Last Pass will appear. Frustrating.
- (2025-06-02) John Harag: LastPass used to be great, then they took away support for multiple devices for free users, and now the extension only mostly functions. Copying saved or generated passwords to the clipboard doesn't work, there's no way to opt out of the autofill "security" popup that warns you about giving out your info, the option to disable the autofill warning on a site for 30 days doesn't work either, and the save password popup that should show automatically when you register or login to a site for the first time is hit or miss. There's no discernible way to report these issues and have them addressed, at least as a free user.
- (2025-06-01) Jai King: I was logged out repeatedly, only to be prompted that my login information is incorrect, even though I entered the right information. I've been using Lastpass for about 4 years and it seems like it has been going downhill for the past 2.
- (2025-05-24) Amr A: Recently, the LastPass Chrome extension keeps logging out of trusted devices. If you're experiencing the same issue, please hit "was this helpful". Hopefully, one of the LastPass technical support team members will see it.
- (2025-05-23) Llewellyn Kriel: It's a pity that what ought to be a simple, quick & easy account is so intrusive, counterintuitive and clunky popping up out of the blue without clear or simple instructions or options - especially for elderly folk unaccustomed to high-end tech. It's embarrassing & scary when one realizes how critically important security, safety & protection is, but the cure seems worse than the disease. Multiply this exponentially across platforms - especially iOS & iPhones - and one is abandoned to guesswork, uncertainty, intimidation and blunders. Surely there is a middle path ... out there, somewhere.
- (2025-05-22) Omer Arif: When I logged in today all of my secure notes disappeared. I am a regular user. I am also unable to get a contact number or email. All of my project lives here.
- (2025-05-20) Claire Elam: Crashes a lot
- (2025-05-16) FilmRose: LastPass used to work great and I loved it, but ever since the newest update it has been horrible. Both me and my boss have issues of it not working at all. I am constantly deleting the browser extension and redownloading it to get it to work for the day, but if we leave our computers it does it again and I have to repeat the steps. I tried troubleshooting and deleting all other browser extensions to make sure they weren't conflicting with this one and it is still giving me issues. Seems pointless to have a password keeper if it takes me longer to troubleshoot it every day than it would to just go look up my password somewhere else.
- (2025-05-14) Hemanth Maddisetty: Loading Very slow and so much of lag.
- (2025-05-13) Kerri Cliff: Fantastic App!
- (2025-05-12) Lim Socheat: Tried to login in my account, don't receive an email to verify login activity. used to be reliable, now very buggy.
- (2025-05-07) Brian&Darryl Dillon: Used the free version for years but now need multiple PCs and Android devices sharing a common set of passwords, so I $ubscribed. For the past month or so on the Windows (Chrome) PCs, it has kept logging me out so that I had to log back in every time I need a username/password. Now, it doesn't work at all. It doesn't autofill anything anywhere and I can't open the vault ( no dropdown at all when icon is clicked). As for Android, I can't even describe the problems but they may all stem from the same constantly being logged out. . . Worst of all, I have no way to retrieve my username/passwords so I can't even go to a different password manager! Unless they pay some attention to the numerous complaints about these issues and fixt the app, avoid this like the plague!
- (2025-05-04) Rosa Antoine: I don't understsand the directions.
- (2025-05-02) James A. Gardner: Disappointing. If it was easier to switch password managers, I would.
- (2025-04-29) Alberto Rodrigues: It randomly takes control and closes other tabs when asked to log in, logs you off multiple times in a day. Please fix this.
- (2025-04-25) Michael Erwin: The chrome extension is almost useless. It's logging out randomly several times a day. I don't have it set to log out ever on any of my machines.
- (2025-04-25) All my notes are missing!!! Terrible extension because it can lose all your data in an instant!
- (2025-04-23) Steven Andary: Logo blocks so many non-login related fields on web forms. Logs me out within a few days for no reason whatsoever. Love to get themselves breached. Signing in takes 3 minutes to load and frequently have to do the annoying "verify location" which then you have to RETYPE the long password again. Elementary level developers on this team, it's cute.
- (2025-04-23) Jack Faulkner: Works well enough, but I see a lot of errors in my DevTools console when this plugin is enabled. I have to turn it off so I can reliably debug websites.
- (2025-04-17) Himanshu Chouhan: From last few days, it's behaving very random. It keeps asking me login several times in a day even I turned on "Trust this computer for 30 days", it still logged me out and asking me to login again. Please fix this asap, it's creating a frustation now.
- (2025-04-15) C S: I've been using LastPass for years and recently have been having trouble with the Chrome extension. When it logs me out it takes several tries to log back in again - and I know the password is correct. It doesn't show an error message, but makes me try again. I've had to log back into the website version in order to login. I have the Pro version which includes the mobile app.
- (2025-04-12) SL D: I've been using LastPass for years. It's been totally acceptable...I have no other password app to compare it to. I will say one thing that I found kind of annoying the other day: the app was insisting that I change my master password. I was on a different computer. It stated "we do not save your password" "ever" so I put in my same password and it said "you can not use your same password". Well, obviously they do save passwords. Anyways....
- (2025-04-12) Thomas Wurwal: Actively changes passwords on pages that should not be changed as it can't differentiate between editable password fields and inactive ones. can be infuriating!
- (2025-04-10) Jim Gulsvig: Updated Chrome now requires a constant refresh of extension to work
- (2025-04-10) Bob Rowell: I've been a paying customer for 15 years. But with no support for Brave, I'm moving on.
- (2025-04-08) Gabe Kauffman: Search item in vault -> copy password does not work, my clipboard does not get changed. 100% repro. macOS + chrome. Pitifully important bug to leave in.
- (2025-04-07) Adam Dane: I also have used LastPass for 7 or more years and loved it. However the Chrome extension no longer works and there is no support or help available. The Devs are not responding. For me a password app requires ALOT of trust and I don't trust lastpass anymore.
- (2025-04-04) Andriy Kiyanovskyy: I was LastPass user many years. Here is what I like: it's free for personal usage. Here is what I don't like: - UI, especially Web UI, is slow - having issues when loggin in even to Google accounts: 1) emails are not fully visible in the drop-down 2) it can't remember the email I selected when it goes to the password page. - doesn't support non-browser applications - doesn't support Windows Hello for loggin in - has been many security breaches - lately it started to log out on both my profiles, community is silent, no support I migrated to 1password and like it much better from the very beginning - UI, speed, Windows App, support for Windows Hello.
- (2025-04-02) Eric Kirchner: I don't know, but something has changed over the past year or so. Related to security. This extension does not seem to recognize that the lastpass vault login has expired, and it's not recognized until you try to add a new entry. Even if you have been logged out, it will still show your accounts. It's gotten harder and hard to use Lastpass over the past year or so, and I assumed it was pain associated with security, but something is missing the mark, and I can't quite place my finger on it. So be cautious.
- (2025-03-31) Elaine Bagley: why wont it take my pssword that is clearly in my lass content
- (2025-03-16) Steven Santora: Last Pass is great. I use it everyday for my password storage and all of my passwords.
- (2025-03-12) Philip Niewold: Was 'OK' but not great, but issues persists for years improvements are few and far between. The fact that it became unusable due to excessive CPU usage and LastPass didn't roll it back means we will be looking for a superior product. The focus the last years seems to be squeezing money from customers rather than offering a superior service.
- (2025-03-09) Ahmed Hassanein: adding new passwords rarely works now. HUGE pain in the A$$ and can't wait to switch to another service but too lazy
- (2025-03-08) Joe Stengel: I've used LastPass for a while, but after recent security breaches and constant glitches, I can no longer trust it. The auto-fill feature is inconsistent, often failing on critical sites, and the browser extension has become buggy and slow. Worst of all, LastPass has suffered multiple security breaches, exposing users’ sensitive information. A password manager is supposed to enhance security, not put it at risk. On top of that, their customer support is nonexistent—good luck getting a response if you run into issues. I’ve since switched to a more reliable and transparent password manager. Avoid LastPass if you value your security and sanity!
- (2025-03-07) John: This extension was never great but it was "good enough" to keep my users from making the change to a competitor even after the data breach and having to change all their passwords. The unresolved 100% CPU issue with this extension finally pushed them over the edge. We've cancelled our paid subscription and moved to a different service.
