An add-on to convert your text to speech (TTS)
[Works offline too] Chirpy TTS converts text on webpages into speech. In a way, it's your browser assistant. After installing it, you will have a play icon on the right side of your address bar. - (2018-08-08) lwjackn: Love this! Who's voice is the UK Female? Yeah a bit of speed control would be nice, but this is better than most other readers in browser. :)
- (2018-04-22) Sergiusz Golec: I used to enjoy SAPI5 voices via Ivona app. Now - Chirpy is my 2nd best choice. And yes - it would be great to control the speed of reading. P.S. Select and Speak TTS can change the speed. Yet there is also a malware with the same name. Hard to get rid off. So when in doubts - use Chirpy.
- (2017-10-14) No sound for me. Tested other TTS addons, they worked.
- (2017-10-06) Tomas Hernandez: Really useful extension. The only reason I give it four stars is due to the long pauses even though there are no comas after a word.
