Description from store This extension can translate a word selected on a page from Swedish to one of the following languages: Albanian Amharic Arabic Azerbaijani Bosnian Croatian English Finnish Greek Northern Kurdish Pashto Persian Russian Serbian (Latin) Serbian (Cyrillic) Somali South Kurdish Spanish Swedish Turkish The Lexin dictionary (http://lexin2.nada.kth.se/lexin/) is used for the word translation search for all languages except English and Folkets Lexikon (http://folkets-lexikon.csc.kth.se/folkets/) is used for English language. New in version 1.8 - Possibility to disable unused languages in options to reduce clutter in UI - Improved on-page translations positioning New in version 1.7 - An input box in the popup added that allows to translate from any available language to Swedish New in version 1.6 - Dates added to the History - Visual fixes for the inline translation box New in version 1.5 - Support for new dictionaries: Amharic Azerbaijani Pashto Serbian (Cyrillic) Spanish New in version 1.4 - Word search field is added to the pop-up window New in version 1.3 - Words from translation, displayed in the pop-up, also can be translated - Fix for the iframe support (now translations should work in gmail, google reader etc.) New in version 1.2 - English language is added. in the english version, when you underline a word and click the app icon on the chrome bar, there is no speaker icon to click and hear the pronunciation. (however there is no such problem when you use a alt+click and get the translation as a popup.)
(2015-09-03, v:1.7.3) Sami Laine: Keyboard shortcuts w/ a Mac
I don't seem to be able to use any keyboard shortcuts with Chromium Version 46.0.2488.0 (64-bit) on a Mac. I believe the keycode for the alt-key on a Mac is not the same as in Windows/Linux -systems and thus doesn't get interpreted correctly. Selecting a word on a page and hitting the Lexin dictionary toolbar button doesn't work either. That said, I'm not entirely sure if Lexin dictionary add on is even supposed to work with vanilla Chromium. However, I do find the interface nice and think it'd be sweet to see this add-on to work on a Mac as well.
