Remove YouTube Autoplay
Isn't YouTube autoplay the worst? This removes it
Simple extension to completely disable and remove the YouTube autoplay feature, which would load another video after the current one ends.
This extension will continue to work if you:
- Delete browser history
- Enter incognito mode (After enabling this option in your extension settings)
Note that this extension only affects videos that would normally show the autoplay switch, this excludes playlists, livestreams, etc.

It's so annoying YouTube suddenly decided to re-enable Autoplay in every new tab. This extension is a life saver, and it works (at least for now).

Misleading title. Developers must stop doing this. What this extension does and should be titled is Disable Auto Play Advance. It does NOT stop autoplay of any youtube video after you click the YT link. It only stops subsequent videos.The other issue is the volume of bots leaving glowing reviews.
EXCELLENT. BRILLIANT. SIMPLE. It works without doing anything fancy. This is the second extension I've tried for autoplay stopping. To those trying out different extensions for autoplay stopping, look no further.

After reverting to an older look of youtube, thanks to Tampermonkey and some code, the autoplay was enabled every time i opened a video, even if i turned it off. This works standalone, but it even functions after running custom scripts. So far this is the only disable autoplay app that actually operates in tandem with the Tampermonkey script. Absolutely 5/5 stars

Simply doesn't work. Autoplay is automatically enabled every single time I open youtube, and this doesn't change that behaviour at all.

After months of being annoyed with my browser's sudden inability to keep Autoplay on Youtube turned off, this was instantly a very satisfying experience to see that damm button gone after a quick page-refresh [F5].

Excellent! This is what I was looking for. The stoppers don't work. Google has figured out how to override them. We can make our own decisions. Why can't Google take a hint?
