Rubbish for video capture which you can't do unless you log into the plarform. Ridiculous limitation. Will look for alternatives including screenshot/video recording apps.

• (2024-11-08) Birgit Jensen: Still my favorite extension for screenshots since 2016. You can save only parts you select, the entire page or the part visible on screen. You can preview, rename and download your screenshots in several formats in just a few painless steps. Love it!!!! (I wonder why some users have such a poor experience -- this is as simple as it gets.) I have recommended this app countless times to others. Every time I have a new laptop, the device-specific screen shot setting is different, but it doesn't matter to me as I use Awesome Screenshot which comes with me on my browsers.

Update Aug 22, 2024: I'm looking for a screenshot app that offers select and scroll, beyond the visible part that is. I was using another extension for years, but then that feature became available only with a paid subscription, so I looked again. It seems to work fine now. Awesome!
