- With an update it installed an ai tool named Typeless without my permission. I don´t recommend using this tool any longer.

- The recent redirection to the 'Typeless' ad is very annoying. I don't want my extensions to open new tabs on my browser. If you need money, just put the ad on the extension pop-up as a non intrusive banner.

- It's very unreliable. Often you need to move pointer quite distance away from actual color to copy the color. It's so weird, Idk why it does this sometimes. Secondly, this extension hijacked and forcefully redirected to a scam advertisement. I know it was a scam due to experience but a lot of your everyday users would have likely fallen for it. It did three bads; advertising, scamming and all this without consent. Right now at least the ad was a scam you'd have to be proactive with (interact first), who knows if someone offer them more money to directly redirect to malicious websites that steal your credentials, credit cards, bank details, etc. No, I'm not fearmongering. Just see what they ask for permission to run first: Site access: This extension can read and change your data on sites. Deleting and reporting.

- I used to like this extension. But today, I got a mysterious tab that automatically appeared with an Advertisement for another product. It's an ad for a "partner site". This is total BS. I did not install this extension so I could get ads shoved down my throat. This is just soooo shady. Goodbye!

- I liked having this on chrome and used it every so often. However it just updated, redirected me to a partner site "typeless", and spammed with with an ad: "Eye Dropper has been updated" "Try our partner's new Mac App" Not cool. Uninstalling now.

- Very good tool to pick colors from the wepage. It will be better if anyone can summarize a instruction to use as I notice there are many negative comments that caused by the misundertanding of the tool.

- Simple reliable and effective! My only suggestion is this --- when I hover over the icon in the upper right toolbar, the caption just says "Popup". Since I have a couple of these tools there I would like to be reassured that I am picking "Eye Dropper."

- Not sure what happened, but with the recent update, it seems like the eye drop tool never shows up when clicking "Web Page". If this is a bug, it's rendering the tool unusable and only allowing for manual input or selection of the given colors within the plug-in. If I could add photos to show this, I would. Glad to help in any way I can. Right now, the tool's simply not working.

- The plugin is called eye dropper and then they removed the eye dropper tool so unless you know the color it's pointless,

- I used to love this for simplicity but since the update I cannot figure out the system. I cannot pick any color, you guys made it so incredibly difficult to use. I am very dissapointed, it was such a helpful tool, now I need to find something else that is simple.

- Same. Extension stopped working after updating. No way to select color from the page anymore, which is sort of the entire point of the extension.

- Since the update, I have not been able to copy a hex code to my clipboard. I hover over the hexcode and when i go to clicl the "copy to clipboard" button, the mouse shifts to the "RGB" field. Is there a work around this?

- Have used this simple little color eyedropper for years and it has been SUPER helpful! The latest "upgrade" added functionality, but overall it's less easy to use. The original was better in my opinion. The color tiles were smaller, the color picker automatically applied the eyedropper without the extra click "From website" and the focus area for selector was better. Honestly, I'd give this latest version 2 stars, but I'll rate it 4 stars based on how much value it's provided me over the years. Thank you for this extension, but I'm disappointed with the latest changes and will look for a new eyedropper tool that's a little less complicated.
